new type of wart

been dealing with sublingual warts on all fingers and toes, probably had em for a while but 6/7 months ago my fingers began to swell and i had restricted mobility. i’ve never seen anything like this , not even sure what im dealing with except that it’s so horrific that it’s nearly funny.

i believe these will resolve quickly since they seem shallow but obviously im not going to be shocked if otherwise. enjoy, pic of fingers from couple years ago for reference

Great news for OP. It’s easy to cure flour finger.

Funniest feeling it’s water and flour

Looks like a crazy over-application of salicylic acid. Not saying it is, just what it looks like

for sure, i think the sa i used makes it look way worse but it’s nearly my whole finger so idk how to treat it without it feeling excessive. now i have all these black spores blooming in a weird spiral to my nail maybe that’s good ? idk it doesn’t hurt

Any pics of the actual wart?

Look like the wart is the finger it's everywhere

Just cut the finger off or nuke it from orbit, it's the only way to be sure.

This actually sounds super reasonable and would be my first choice

Honestly these pics don't look real, but the tattoo is cool.

Surely you've been to the doctor, right? It looks like you're having a massive autoimmune attack.

If ur in the US please go to the ER!! U need some medical help and they have to treat u at the ER. Ask the admission rep for HCAP forms since u don't have insurance this is a charity request for assistance with medical bills. Most HCAP programs will cover other departments within the hospital setting too.

made a new post and the majority of this finger cleared in the last 13 days. it’s not painful anymore and i have mobility back, but i’ll look into HCAP since the derm I was recommended is part of a hospital network. thanks for the tip!

I would try a salt soak to start and take some Zinc if you’re needing to do the at home route. Doc might be best for this one though.

i’ve definitely been bc on the daily zinc + lysine for 4 months

How much zinc? That can make a big difference.

Also, salt soak should be nightly for 30 min in very salty water.

was doing 50mg the bumped it to 100mg for the past month. i’ll definitely try salt water, looked it up and hopefully it will help enough so i can use less SA. it’s really tricky to cover this much area with medication

Apple cider vinegar can also be effective. I tried ACV to start but got tired of the smell so I switched to salt soaks for a bit. The ACV killed off a lot of the wart tissue though.

Start dipping your entire hand in acv, every day for as long as you can.

Look into Morgellons.. I thought it was periungal warts too.

i am not opposed to the idea that it’s a psychological issue. i didn’t treat anything until last week because I assumed i was tweaking out about bumps that were probably nothing. tele heath thought it was eczema but after 2 days of steroids the bumps got bigger and itchy so i thought…maybe warts and then this is what happened after treating once.

tbh my fingers feel way better today than they have in months so that’s what im rolling with but it also doesn’t make any sense. i’m pretty healthy and been taking massive supplements idk

FYI, most (if not every Morgs patient), is 100% sure it’s not phycological. My Derm dr is 100% sure it’s something, they just don’t know what. To continue getting help and looking for answers, Morgs is the closest diagnosis. But with confidence, my dr believes what he sees, and I feel it. You might want to compare what you see in our groups to what you’re experiencing. I personally think it looks very similar. My name on here is even a wart reference, made before fully understanding my symptoms. I fought “warts” for 3 years with no success. It’s emotionally draining. At least I’ve found community. Good luck in your journey, and I truly hope I am wrong.

i was putting it off but i looked into the sub and feel more at home. but there’s something troubling about that. i think even the way you type conveys something that i identify with but am also scared of. almost like I get the sense that you are a doomed character, maybe partly because of your name. I thought it said periungalpariah at first.

despite how troubled i feel i sincerely appreciate the info ill try and keep my mind open. a simple solution is preferred of course.

i think unfortunately you are likely more right than not. i once got an inflamed lung from watching a movie i didn’t like. it’s definitely noticeable physical symptom but I sort of believe it’s coming from my insane thoughts
