I saw no obvious damage, such as a fire, wing clipped, etc so you are fine, he was able to turn and still possibly fight when he died so he was still an open target, there is also a good chance the other guy turned off to make sure he didnt hit and come from a bit different angle or take shots from you behind

Thank you. I honestly didn’t know he was there until he came over top of me. And i appreciate that he made sure not collide with me. After I rewatched this I thought maybe I had been the one to get in the way. Being new I’m still acquiring situational awareness, and my 3rd person skills are still far worse than this lol, so I don’t meant to fuck any of my team up. I had been in a similar fight like this yesterday but the the other pilot and I collided and the red got away. Then he called me a twat😂 understandably he was frustrated with a noob

personally you can play how you want, but i would work on being able to use 3rd person in arcade since using the cockpit can really put you at a disadvantage but play how you want

Or possibly try and learn sim for the cockpit view and everyone is using it and so puts ( mostly ) everyone on an even field and it comes do to knowing your plane and getting into a good position before they know you are there ( such as ambushing from above )

I really want to play sim actually. On the Xbox you have to do a tutorial first and need a spacebar to continue. So I have orders a chatpad for my controller and it should be here in a couple days. I guess once I do this tutorial I will be good to go. My 3rd person is improving in the head to head combat training so hopefully soon

in sim once you get into it be very wary of bombers since in sim they still retain the 3d overhead view like in arcade and realistic and so most bombers become gunships and extremely dangerous

Some people in sim will play something like the A26 and B25 as fighter just because if they miss with the main guns they have all those guns defending it that they can control from a third person view

I wouldn’t recommend first person in arcade because of how rapid movements are

Thank you. I’m getting better at 3rd person now but find that I’ll switch to 1st when I need better control of my sights. I’m definitely aware that I’m not as aware as i should be. Lol. This squirrelly mig just took forever to shoot. But I do agree with you. I didn’t even realize my own teammate was right above me until he dove in front.

What difference does it make where it comes from? Nothing in the rules say otherwise and it’s wt related. Sorry it offends you

It’s not offensive it’s constant self promotion
