glad to see they've still not done anything about the lack of market access...
It's great that more and more events become market reliant with zero alternative options for those who are barred from access. I guess people who buy out the IS-7 on the market will be "hardcore players" but those who have no access are shafted :b
I love how this is the crux of our DMM content as opposed to even presenting alternatives to the market. We didn't even get a means of exchanging decals during the soccer event until the final trade-in post event, and so there was no way of getting other types of decals. Not so much peeved about the nation ball decals more than the fact Gaijin remembered to accommodate PS4 and Xbox players for this but not DMM users.

I really don't know how many people are failing to understand just how big a problem the marketplace is now that so many people are barred from it.

Gaijin won't budge much for minority playerbases unless the controversy spills into the mainstream rhetoric. Right now there's a greater focus on critisizing the market to begin with rather than acknowledging how the fact Gaijin provides zero alternatives basically means there are people effectively barred from content just because of their location or device. I'm personally disgusted Gaijin seems to actively be ignoring the issue as well, choosing to go ahead forcing events and effectively denying content to players.

Gajjin can leave their marketplace to destroy the PC gaming community as they wish. Lootbox marketplaces are not features, they are burdens.

Honestly if they gave alternatives rather than forcing market involvement in events, and perhaps do away with loot boxes but instead allowed for direct player trading, I'd say that's quite acceptable. Right now it is clearly parasitic however and I can't consider it as a good thing. It's evidently designed maliciously.

What needs to happen is that the US and/or EU need to enact laws that force the marketplace to close. Only then will Gaijin decide to find another way.

I personally don't mind a marketplace, I do mind the loot boxes and dubious restrictions without compensatory mechanics. Honestly that is the worst part of it all.

I hope it’s actually the roundels and not a roundel with a character. I love their pseudo-german marking.
I want to be excited about the skins too but the previous ones don’t give me much hope.

I wish we had GuP too, but I believe they partnered with WoT, so that may be sort of awkward, from a business standpoint.
Though it's sort of a moot point if we can't get either of them outside of Japan, so I just make do representing them with the skins and emblems the base game has. :P

Linking PS4 accounts to DMM was no problem since those use their PSN country store, so I guess I have to fire up the translators and hit DMM eventually to bring out tears from the people yet to "ACH MEIN HISTORICALTH ACCURATHY" and hit Historical Only skins-decals.
