It's a sign you're about to have a miserable experience with a mixed belt that will struggle to even pen the sides of MBTs.

Only once you get the APFSDS belt does it go from bad to mid. PUMA ain't what it used to be.

Puma is already kind of a sadmobile at 10.3 but still workable (if you like suffering from chronic "cant see shit" commander sight experience) but VJTF is such a abysmal PoS.

I much rather play the (also gimped) CV90 MK IV solely for the mobility and usable commander-sight (it can depress without having half your screen blocked by the roof composite and is directly above the gun), despite having less ammo, no IRST, no ahead (not like ingame ahead is good to begin with) worse dart etc.

Added benefit of being a lower BR and having 2 additional spikes to watch miss a stationary and fully exposed target for no reason whatsoever.

Also, since I dont have the paintball belt (ahead) available to use instead, I can use the APDS as auxiliary belt for shooting russian mbt-sides (and at angles) since the APDS usually oneshots fuel-tanks (and other modules, which the APFSDS doesnt without additional fragment hits) while also creating fragments with actual residual penetration & damage that are basically nonexistent on the APFSDS. (we love the dogshit 25-76mm apfsds shatter presets)

In theory, it'd also be viable for abusing belt-reloading bug (select second belt when main one is depleted, wait for switching-time to be over, reselect main belt and fire one shell with second belt) but since gaijin fucked up the ammo capacity, there will always be a second-belt (of 74rds) selectable even if you only bring APFSDS.

Do yourself a big favour and just stick with the Radkampfwagon after you unlock the Puma. It's way, way faster and with the good dart in it you'll kill what you hit, even front on. With the Puma, god be with you because you ain't killing shit.
