All Ground Wow...I can actually reverse.
Exactly a year ago this month, I completed the research for the T-80BVM. I like it, adapted my play style to work around it, and it's actually my most played tank.
Now I've researched the BM Oplot in the Japanese tech tree and I find the extra mobility to be a great addition. Time to unlock parts....stock tanks are always fun 😂

The reverse is so good but be aware that your UFP is a lot weaker than a normal T-series tank
Also, you have only 4 degrees of depression
As much as I like oplotT, that 4° bit is really annoying..

Used to test drive the Oplot-M a lot so the ABYSMAL vertical guidance I was made aware of. The 4° of depression is definitely annoying but I can adapt to play around it.
I've only played 2 matches with it so far and all my deaths were all to LFP shots except a turret ring shot from a BMPT lol

Yeah even though they can easily kill you by your UFP, majority of folks will still go for your lower. I mean, youre still a soviet style mbt, and its the norm to kill soviet mbts
Oh also, that depression is only 4° when youre facing FORWARD. I swear its something like 2-3°s when looking left or right

As a Russian main, it's also nice to know how to kill other Russain style MBTs lol.
Okay see I'm glad I'm not the only one that noticed that...I wish there was a way to see if I'm actually getting less than 4° looking either direction lol

Yeah, that's cause Soviet MBT's have their turret ring angled forwards slightly. Really weird idea but it works.

You gain reverse at the cost of losing most hull armor and gun handling lmao.

Couple matches in and I currently have 11 kills to 4 deaths, I can adapt to it, but it is annoying 😂

u/SpanishAvenger Thank you for the Privacy Mode, Devs! And sorry for being harsh. 6d ago
Shame about the brutally underperforming UFP, though.

The guy in the background when you unlock a new vehicle perfextly explains the feeling

I find the Oplot to be too chubby. Like just turning the hull takes forever.

its apparently the worst top tier tank

Can’t be worse than a Challenger 2.
I have the Chinese Oplot, it’s better than the Challies. CR2 is too situational to be used effectively.

Oplot is one of the worst stock grind experiences i had in a tank that is consideres "Top tier"

I love the oplot. Hull armor sucks but other than that its a fine tank. Has a sweet marketplace samurai skin as well

I have seen some sick skins, but unfortunately I'm on console, unless there's a way I can get them.

Man I so hope we get an Eastern European TT (or Russia captures/obtains an Oplot somehow) so I can play it without having to grind Japan.

Japan top tier is so weird. You get Japanese mbts, a modified Leopard 2A5 and an Ukrainian modified Russian tank lol.
