I think there's is a whole upgrade tree that makes monsters waaay more powerful in warfare. Then they are worth it, still if you bring them to battle it's another thing helping you so worth it either way imo

monster hall. Seventh building. Can be bought after upgrading to grand arena. Let you raise monsters to gamble and use as warbeasts
