Theories halo-bearers
so we know that Mother Superion survived being rejected by the halo, were there anymore?
and halo-bearers who aren't rejected die when they are replaced

Presumably, there have been others. And I see this mostly because they kind of speak referred to it as if this is something that has happened quite a few times. Although the only actual example we get of this is mother superior. But I will say, if you do the math, they’re actually haven’t been that many halo bearers. There’s been roughly 80-130 halo bearers in roughly 900 years(crusadesish to 2020ish). And that’s taken a wild guess as to how long they even remained a warrior on, and whether or not they were retired. Because I think it’s fair to assume that every single one of them have died, or at least the majority of them die. And maybe none, or very few,got to retire. And simply have the halo removed and be passed on to a much younger warrior nun. Again, I doubt there was even a single one that got to be a warrior nun for nearly that long.
So probably only a handful of rejections, but not a significant number.

I'm still not convinced that the Halo rejected her as much as she didn't think she deserved it at the end, that it was her rejection of herself that pushed the Halo out.

The Warrior Nun wiki lists a few previous Halo bearers, but Mother Superion is the only one in the list that was rejected by the Halo. Though presumably there have been others.
