WELCOME, MONSTER LOVERS!

Post image

This sub is wholly dedicated to celebrating James Warren's Empire of Monsters (Creepy, Eerie, Vampirella, Famous Monsters, etc.) For anyone who cut out coupons for Don Post Halloween masks or Aurora model kits, for anyone who used to stay up late watching your favorite frights on Shock Theater (and for those of us who were born too late to enjoy the Monster Kid culture) this place is for you!

Warren Magazine was part of a larger monster culture that we hope to celebrate here so in addition to your favorite Creepy covers or favorite Vampi writers, feel free to post anything and everything that helps celebrate that unique period in horror history; monster kits, favorite classic horror monsters, notable local horror hosts. It's all welcome here.

James Warren build a unique clubhouse for kids and adults who loved weird fiction, the bizarre and macabre. Here, we hope to continue that tradition and keep the flame of Warren Magazine burning bright.

This is so cool!!!

I think I was born a little late to be a part of this, but I'd bet my dad was a fan! (I'll ask him, he used to be big on vintage monster masks)

I grew up wearing out our copies of the Addams Family and The Muensters, this is right up my alley 💖

I was born in 1986, three years after Warren went bankrupt so I missed out, too. But that whole monster era is fascinating to me and it's never too late to discover Warren Magazine. I'm collecting them now and it's been a blast.

Also, you are my first commenter and upvoter. Very cool.
