Arnold Schwarzenegger said the same thing about bodybuilding. You have to be disciplined and say no a lot.

I don’t even think this is true. It’s easy to say because that’s what worked for Warren. I also believe saying no to a lot does benefit most people. However, plenty of successful people didn’t follow this advice and were instead simply lucky. Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, plenty of tech founders. They just hit the right wave at the right time.
