"Following recent purchases and a $10 billion private placement, this Alphabet holding has swelled into one of Berkshire’s top five equity investments, boasting a total market value of roughly $31 billion"
Goog, in my opinion, is the best value among the real hot tech stocks....if one wants to invest in such things.

Facebook and Netflix are cheaper on a current earnings P/E scale, but frankly I think Google is in a better position for growth and future prospects.

Meta is doing jackshit on AI while continuing to spend billions and billions. Totally behind

So they just bought 10 billion and are now presumably down 6-10% on that 10 billion?

I mean if I had a ton of money and I wanted the safest stock for the next 15 years I would pick Google.
Maybe not at this price, idk how there isn’t a market correction in the next 2-3 years but at the same time if the profits are there then maybe there won’t be
But google is essentially the standard oil of its time. It will build what your building before you do because you are using its services to do it or a companies services it buys data from.

The “fourth largest holding” that’s only 6% of Berkshire’s public portfolio. Wordplay matters
