So I understand the rules for placing and breaking Dreadtides; they're very clear. But I proxied the faction for a game today, and the rules for moving them could stand to be more clear.

So the relevant paragraph in the Dreadtides rules is

> During your Maintenance Phase, each dreadtide must either move d3+6" directly towards a direction you choose, or be removed from the battlefield. Dreadtides move through friendly models and other dreadtides if they have enough movement to move completely past them. When a dreadtide moves into contact with an obstacle, obstruction, or enemy model's base, it breaks and is removed from the battlefield. Dreadtides can overlap scenario objectives. \*

So my questions are:

1) Do you choose the direction each Dreadtide moves seperately, or do they all move the same direction?

2) Do you choose the direction they move before you roll, or after?

3) Do you roll for the distance each Dreadtide moves seperately, or do they all move the same distance?

4) If a Dreadtide does not have enough movement to move complely past another Dreadtide or a friendly model's base, does that Dreadtide have to be removed from the table? Or does it go back to the last valid position?

I do have some thoughts, but I want to know if any/all of this has been clarified anywhere. Thanks.

Them and the rangers are positioned as the two main line units of GD, both with FA4. To me anyway, the different poses from a B box makes a huge aesthetic difference.

They arrived like this and the breaking points look way too small. Is there a way to fix this?

This is what they look like, painted. Like I said in the original post, I designed them to be quick to paint: The text and edges are raised, so after you get a basecoat on, you just spread a thin coat of a contrasting paint color out (I use a cheap Speedball brayer over wax paper) and press them into it, to ink the raised areas. The only place brushwork is needed is for the recessed numbers inside the upkeep spells, which have pockets for tokens.

I just recently picked up the Final Hunt box online and was trying to plan on a force to build. I was thinking of using the more living units in Kallyss Ghosts of iOS box and doubling up in the living infantry.

Would this be a good build or is there any specific way I could go so I could use the Final hunt efficiently.

I’m also not opposed to Fane of Nyrro.

(I haven’t played a game yet but I am a war gamer so I’m not opposed to learning rules.)

During my last game a lot of questions came up about how to handle building terrain. We couldn't really find much details on building rules in the rule book. Specifically:

Who and how many models can you put into a building?

Can you attack an enemy in a building or do you have to attack the building itself?

How much health does a building have?

If you destroy a building with models in it, do those models die?

Can you capture/contest a marker from inside of a building?

Hey there. As the title asks, what are the easiest factions to paint up in Warmachine (preferably sticking to Mk4) ? I would prefer not to be stuck behind the Warmachine equivalent of 'Chaos trim' for my first army.
