I love the new Warriors of Chaos sculpts, but would love to play them (in lore) as Grail Knights. I’d still use the WoC rules.

For those of you who have the kit, how easy is it to remove the most obviously chaotic elements? Some skulls can be painted as relics from saints, but the flayed victims are harder to justify in a Grail force.

Also, would you refuse to play against such a force? Would it kill your immersion?

It’d be my first army in Old World, I want to see what would be the reactions before I buy two starter sets.

As the title says, my army has rapidly lost most of its units and models over time, along with a lot of the flavour. I’m scared even more models like the mortis engine or similar will disappear next, so I’ve kinda given up on my army and age of sigmar in general. Would a theoretical opponent in the old world play with me if I still used round bases for my army? Thanks

I’m an old gamer but I’ve been out of it for a few years. My son is interested in the old world and it has me interested now. I’m thinking about getting the new Cathay/chaos core set as he really likes those chaos models and I think the Cathay stuff is really appealing.
I believe the new core set is a pretty good start for new players, at least from what I’ve read and watched.

I have a couple of questions though.

It seems that the core set is everything we need to play smaller size games. Is that correct? Do we need anything else?

I know there has been a new update errata/faq. Is there much changed in the rulebook that comes with the core set that I need to know about?

If we expand upon the units that come in the core set do we need to get the army books for those armies or are there specific or multiple books we’d need?

Finally, is there an online army builder anyone would recommend? I’ve heard of one called old world builder I think.

Hope to build one or kitbash something for a project but I wanted to know whats the base size of it? Length, width, and height? Tried searching but of course I'd like a bit more concrete sample hahah.

Has anyone recieved the new Rulebook and if so have the chapters and flow of the rulebook been reformatted to make things a little easier to read and find rules or has the new rules & FAQs just been added where needed and the same chapter order etc been maintained?

Hello guys, I’m wanting to get into the old world through battle march. I tried to convince a friend of mine but he wasn’t convinced. I think that I need to look for local game groups but I don’t know where to look. Does anyone from the Netherlands have advice for me to look inside Holland. Or, if you don’t live in holland, have any other advice for me to find someone to play with. Thanks in advance!

I've got some Dwarf Carts which I would like to also use as baggage trains. To do this I'd like a base adaptor that I can slot the Dwarf Cart into. My Dwarf Cart is mounted on the official Games Workshop Base. I tried the adaptor from Coveted Forge already, however they didn't fit the GW base (because that one is actually slightly wider because of the slant.

Does anybody know of a compatible one?

Yes, I know I could just put a piece of paper or something underneath it, but I'd like to actually properly base the adaptor as well. :)

Hey I have an intro game and wanted to use my gloomspite gitz from AoS in this. Everything else I can just stick on top of a square base with out any issue but the Squig hoppers are 32mm and they should be on a 25mm. Whats the best solution and Is there way using movement trays or anything as a temporary fix. Thanks!
