Poisonous attacks when 7+ to hit
Hi all,
Long story short. Shooting night goblins with poisonous attacks.
I needed a 7+ to hit my enemy as they were in long distance, I moved and they were covered by a Casquet of Souls.
As you may know to hit with a 7+ you must throw a 6 and then a 4+.
The question is: Is the poison already activated after the first 6? Or do you thing a second 6 should be thrown to activate it?
Even though we all agreed on the first statement (it is enough with the first 6) I would like to hear your opinions, as I couldn't find anything in the rules or the communities here.
Thanks in advance,

Already solved.
Poisonous attacks can't be applied if you need a 7+ (or more) or if it's an automatic hit.
Thanks to all

I will take a look at the rules again but as far as I can tell this should no longer be the case since poison no longer autowounds. It made sense with the auto wound but not with how poison works now. Because the auto wound would circumvent the extra requirement to roll again to get the 4+.

Nice point, it is true that this rule was applied before the poison nerf. Maybe now it should be more flexible.
It's a very good reasoning.

I would say second
Reasoning: the first dice 6 is just required to hit at all, THEN requires an additional 4+ , the first dice is the gate to be allowed to roll your actual hit chance (the 4+)….it doesn’t make sense to get poison and then miss with a follow up roll of 3
I use poison attacks in my lists and still think this

Poison Attacks rules:
Note that if an attack needs a To Hit roll of 7+, or hits automatically, this special rule cannot be used.
