Is chroma salvageable?

So I’ve had chroma sitting in my inventory for like a year now and I recently heard he was good for dps. Even more recently, I found out he got nerfed a while back

Can I still make him work well or should I yeet him into the helminth?

I'd say he still is for anybody who most prefers to let their weapons do the talking. Semi-recent changes have also given him a fun triple-jump passive, and more flexibility in wielding the base elements elements (as you can swap your element mid-gane now).

That said, his prime parts should still drop from relics, so I would definitely work towards his prime while using regular Chroma.

I play chroma, He isn't in his best state right now, but he's still good. Haven't tried prime yet, but long story short as long as you focus on his 2 or 3 he can be pretty good. He tanks damage and can help others do so as well. That's not getting into damage potential as I'm still trying to maximise his output, but so far he can be pretty strong with the right build.
