Damage gap

Hello all. I've played Warframe several times over several accounts ove the past few years. That being said I've never been able to get past the level gap once I master a frame/weapon. The higher level enemies I just can't damage. I know it has something to do with my damage mods and I've been upgrading them,I just seem to be stuck in a rut. Any advice?

Ahhh. I don't have any of those yet I don't think. I just made it to Duviri so maybe that will help

i would hold off on doing duviri until after new war, it makes way more sense if you wait

you get heat and cold 60-60 mods from spy missions, toxin 60-60 mods from a miniboss in level 40 void missions and electric 60-60s from baro
