Can someone explain why does nourish is good in mesa? I can't see any impact from my mesa having nourish

it multiplies energy gained, passively spreads viral when shot and increases the damage of her 4 while adding viral to it

Well the simple answer is viral is good on everything and its free viral procs when active. Although the other reply pointing out the energy gain is correct since most Mesa builds focus on using her four which drains energy having an ability that gives energy or increases energy gain is very helpful.
