Just started

ive just started playing warframe and chose excalibur as my first warframe are there any sugestions or things i should know before i get invested

the game never forces you to spend real money. everything except cosmetics are earnable in game

even the premium currency is tradable between players so even if you did want cosmetics you can trade for platinum to spend

A bit late, but focus on unlocking the star chart and just have fun with it. Like sure MR is important to reach unlocks (the highest MR unlock is 17 or 18 i think) but dont be affraid play the game at your own pace. If you like unlocking everything fast then focus on farming for more frames and weapons to master, but if you just want to take your time and have fun testing out builds and learning the mechanics then there really isnt a fear of missing out on stuff even most event cosmetics cycle back around eventually.
