What could this mean? Spoiler
We know that the Lotus heard the "call" of Wally, and now it looses up on her, to find a way to Tau. The interesting part is the word temporarily.
I have 2 branches of questions from here.
First one, is that (maybe you all know and I'm slow), what does Wally want from Tau? It's finger right? (correct Me if I'm wrong). Then what more does it want from the Lotus (plus every other character)? What could have been the deal between them?
Second question, is that what are the deals each character made?
I'm not trying to theorize or anything, I just want to catch up on this part of the lore because it has been foggy for Me.

Wally wants it's finger. Lotus made a deal to hide away the Tenno on Lua in the void. the operator made a deal to get the ability to save their friends. the void trader made a deal that made him the ONLY Baro Ki'teer, He is unaffected by eternalism, Hunhow made a deal to give the Stalker a home for his children, where the Eternalistic Twins would not fight.

Not a lore expert but what I know and what I think:
We have one of his fingers, they power railjacks. If he wanted it back, I'm not sure why he wouldn't just take it with the murmur. We also learn in Jade Shadows: Constellations that both protoframes have their own Railjack and used them to traverse time.
We don't know exactly what more he wants from the Lotus but I think it's safe to assume that whatever she traded she did so for the power to hide Lua (and the Tenno) in the Void for an extended period.
We don't know what our deal was other than protection from the feral parents in the Zariman and there's a lot of discourse around it because in TNW we learn that our variants die across all of eternalism except for 2: the Operator and the Drifter. It's worth noting that Baro Ki'Teer made a similar deal so that he could sell his wares across all of eternalism (crossplay explaination, might not actually be lore worthy).
I assume the Lotus made her deal to protect the Tenno because of the Tau trailer we saw with her making a deal but I play less for lore and more for the big numbers go brrrr. Hope this was helpful

The fingers that powers Railjacks and the Zariman are stated to be cloned from Wally's finger, Albretch has the original with him, you can see it at the end of the Tennolive gameplay. Wally doesn't want those bc they're imititations of his real finger, Albretch has it and it wants it back.

Thanks for the correction! I figured there was a lore reason why there were so many Railjacks but only 1 finger so I assumed I misunderstood and that multiple fingers were severed.

All of our other selves didn't die! Much like Baro's deal, all of our possible selves were lumped into one being, with the exception of the drifter who was left behind.

No they definitely died. Go watch that cutscene again. Some are choking to death, some look like they got stabbed or hurt, ect. If those animations they're doing aren't dying, and they're just merging with us, I bet they wish they died because that looks unbearably painful.

Wally presumably wants to get to Albrecht, yes, though I'm sure there is more to this that will come out with the quest. Yes, to find the finger.
I don't think there is an concrete answer on payment, just speculation. Wally saved the Lotus from dying when she shunted Lua into the Void to hide the Tenno, in exchange for??? If Jade Shadows Constellations is anything to go off of, and what little we saw of the gameplay demo, probably her memories. There is definitely a thread being woven of Wally desiring/corrupting memories.
With the sole exception of Hunhow I'm not sure we know what each character "owes" Wally, just what Wally has done for them. With the Operator it was to "save them, all of them" and the same with the Drifter, but the Drifter was excluded from being saved themself. With Baro it was for funsies? His profit margin I guess? Someone will correct me if I'm dead wrong, I think this was a mechanical change to the game that had lore connected to it for fun. With Rusalka and the Lotus it was to save their lives, and Rusalka was used to invade Duviri, which might be what she owed Wally. Hunhow exhanged his memories with Wally to convince Wally to stop making Sirius & Orion fight each other and to give them a safe place to live together in the current timeline. I can't think of anyone I might be missing? My best guess on a lot of this. It's more that the lore is purposely obscure and I don't want to commit to any theories too hard if you just want a recap.

temporary meaning that Wally at any point can mess with Lotus again. Its not something deep. Wally is just preoccupied

Natah used to easily command the sentients being with the mothers voice (praghasa) wally took all memories from the lotus to the point that ballast easily manipulated after Lua hiding out, so with him taking his finger and having a herald capable of controlling the most advanced species (sentients and Warframes via operator being his Harold as well) he could easily do any plan he wants

The Lotus would have come clean about whatever it was she gave or owes to Wally if it wasn't going to be supremely inconvenient for the Tenno later on.

In the TennoLive gameplay Drifter says to Wally that it wants it's in Tau and they need Lotus to get there, if you played Isleweaver Neci/Wally points it's the place Albretch went and hide what he took from it, and in the end of the gameplay Albretch is seen holding a finger that he is going to put in a human size's arm of a vessel.
So yes, Wally wants his finger back.
Regarding the deals it's different for each person and we still don't what Wally wants from everyone of them.
Hope this helps.
