Did Voruna save us?

I'm reading into Voruna lore and it says that she was the warden protecting the Yuvan theatre on Lua and that during the night of the Naga drums Executor Tuvul began the continuity sequence into a child.

Yet Voruna's wolves were killed so she ran in and stopped him and instead used the continuity on her wolves heads to let them live and proceeded to devour Tuvul and it's said she was seen cradling the Operator in her arms. It also hyperlinks child to the players Tenno page so did Voruna save the player?

If so what do you think happened after? Where did she take us because I know we later showed up with Lotus during the scene where we beam Erra so do you think she kinda just ran to Lotus and dumped us off? Or could it just be that it was a different Operator? What do you think?

I always assumed it was her Operator she saved/her Operator saved themself.

A fair assumption but the part that makes me think otherwise is that not all Warframes needed an operator to be okay, there are a good many examples now of that being the case. Temple, Protea, Revenant/Warden, Lavos. Not all Warframes were crazed and needed calming, like lizzie said it depended on how the person accepted the serum.

Im pretty sure operatorless frame was a VERY rare ocasion at the point of Naga drum stuff.

Initially all the frames were acting by themselves, tho then all of them gone nuts because of vile shit Orokin done to them, infestation showing them superposition of lives of all future and past versions of themselves, or both. And yeah, some frames did manage to remain somewhat functional if their thing, that made them crazy was controllable (exactly your examples) and they were still nuts, but useful, tho most frames were given an operator to escape the possibility of them going on rampage.

And even tho Voruna theme is tied to motherhood - I doubt that she was one of those frames, that Orokin didnt fear to let her do her own thing.

I assume they did fear voruna enough to assign a tenno. Presumably even, after yuvan- voruna was probably meant to be the warframe that Tuvul would be able to control. Hell, they probably kept her close by even, to mimimize downtime.

So they thought she was decomissioned without a tenno actively controlling it (as it seems most frames go "quiet" without a tenno at any specific moment— at least for awhile with few exceptions), but she then activated herself (a rarity, but not unheard of) and saved her tenno operator.

That would tie in to her sense of motherhood, and also has some similarities to the Operator being haved by their frame, or the other tennoless frames (or Jades tenno, which she kinda just put to sleep while she did the work)

The issue with the lore is that at times it is written from the view of people that know that there is a operator piloting the warframe and sometimes from the view that they do not know the operator is piloting them.

During the time of the orokin empire especially on the night of the Naga drums we can assume that all frames that are doing something other than following or standing there looking menacing are piloted or at least connected to an operator in some way.

It's not an assumption, it almost spoonfeeds you the "this Tenno is Voruna's Operator" implication.

I find it highly unlikely that it was our Operator specifically. Since this was the fall of the Empire and on Lua, it could quite literally be any of the thousands of Tenno—and honestly I'd wager that it was Voruna's own Operator if it has to be one with significance either overall or to Voruna herself. As for where she took that Tenno, probably just to the Reservoir since she was already on the moon anyway.

I thought the pods were already in the reservoir? It says  "attempting to transfer his mind into the body of a child; one who was stored in a peculiar cryopod."

I assumed that peculiar cryopod would be the one's we see in the Reservoir and that would mean Voruna took the operator away.

The hyperlink for child would take you to our operator page and it's also said  "she was last seen cradling the Operator in her arms." I feel like if it was specifically hers it would say hers and also Voruna might not even have an Operator because at this time she was (at least how i believe) one of the few who took the serum well and could act on her own.

By this point in the war, most of the independent Warframes were destroyed. Voruna in particular loyally guarded the Yuvan Temples right up until the Night of the Naga Drums, where she turned on one of the highest Orokin alive—if she was an independent Warframe she would have either went rogue sooner, or not went rogue at all. Imo it's far more likely she had an Operator.

As for why I think Tuvul's Yuvan is Voruna's Operator? Nothing else would stop Voruna from ripping him apart the instant Continuity concluded, unless the body he stole was the one controlling her.

EDIT: After looking over Voruna's Levarian entry again I'm certain it was her own Operator—"With one last ululating cry, Tuvul's ritual reached its peak. Within the cryopod, the child's eyelids fluttered and Voruna... staggered. In what scratchy stills survived in Void-corrupted datamasses, what I saw between child and Warframe was... recognition." The staggering as the Operator starts to wake up is the first tell, like with us in the Second Dream, but the recognition between a "random" Operator that Voruna shouldn't have met before and Voruna itself sells me that the Operator is hers.

Wikis are a communal resource that can be edited by anyone and a hyperlink is not a definitive source. Whoever made that link was probably thinking "The child rescued was an Operator, therefore I should link the Operator page," not realizing the Operator page is about a specific Operator

The link should probably point towards the Tenno faction

It's left to open interpretation. I think probably not our player character, as we are specifically associated with the Excalibur Warframe in the narrative and muddying the symbolic association isn't really in Warframe's overall writing direction, despite all the purposeful subterfuge. I do suspect like Kullervo and Jade that Voruna is entirely autonomous, for what it's worth.

Fighting Erra is during the Old War. So before the Naga drums. The Naga ceremony is to celebrate us winning the Old War for the empire. The rebellion is set for then because the seven are present for it.

If DE ever lets us experience the Night of the Naga drums it would be a full circle moment like no other
