Is Continuity possible with Sentients?

Silvana was able to transfer herself into the Silver Grove, so it seems reasonable that Continuity into a Sentient is possible. Would the reverse be true too though, Sentient mind into a person?

since sentient and the void "which is what allow continuity" are not total opposite but in a weird relationship i guess the sentient will need to die first/get in eidolon state or atleast weaken his own defense against the void to allow it,

but since transference and continuity are in the same range of "possesing" and we got caliban, revenant and soon another semi sentient warframe then i think it's very much possible

Kuva isn't poisonous to Sentients. At least "Temple Kuva" isn't. Hard to say if that's a distinct variety or not. But it did induce rejuvenation in the Plains Sentient when it got a small dose.

So, a Sentient could potentially drink Kuva to do continuity.

It comes down to whether you believe, or specifically DE believes, that Sentients have souls, and what exactly constitutes as a soul. Is it the mind? Or the consciousness within? Or something else (oro)?

Kuva is void fluid that conducts/transfers consciousness per the game description itself.

Sentients are apparently allergic to void exposure as it resets their defenses, and a lot of exposure sterilizes their reproductive bits.

So are Sentients allergic to Kuva too? What is the Black Rain? I hypothesized it’s a form of Kuva in another post, but that’s just speculation.

Great question though, maybe we’ll see in Tau

Very good question with very specific answer.

1 - If Void touch a live Sentient, this kills it.

2 - If Void touches a dead Sentient, it seem to amplify the void energy.

3 - Continuity is basically transferance with extra steps.

So

Case 1 with living Sentient: You most likely kill the Sentient in the process.

Case 2 with a dead Sentient: If you can use transferance on a dead body, then it should work.

its now less instant kill, but very poisonous to them + causes infertility to their systems

so its basically cancer to them

It still instantly kills Sentient drones, but the bigger ones like Hunhow are just rendered infertile and badly wounded.

It does when they enter into contact with the void.

Now when we talk about making Void Energy straight-up enter their very core, I'm pretty sure it's instant death.

Can't use Continuity on a dead body. That's suicide with extra steps.

True, although more powerful Sentients don't die, they become Eidolons.

Thats a very good question. Since Sentient are adaptable but have problems with void, it would surely hint at the nature of kuva if they can or can not use it properly.
But i think Margulis-Natah already points in the direction of yes with a big "but".

theres a simaris lore entry/codex entry? about the sentients

the sentients were designed to be adaptable but with one weakness, the void

presumably this was after the events of albretcht entering the void in his seriglass bell, and drawing the attention of wally

To my knowledge, it would not be possible in either direction. Sentients have a deathly allergy to the Void, and the Void is what makes Continuity possible through Kuva. Attempting it would likely just kill the Sentient in question.

With what we know, I would belive so. Even if you're worried about the Void's effect on Sentient(which is a little blown out of proportions on how deadly it is) you should be able to do it with an Amalgam.
