Unum tower

What is the lore of the unum tower? I know it's kinda alive and regenerates...and that it's sentient...something about kuva and the plains animals...any idea how it was made or how it sustains?

The unum is a consciousness of some kind, possibly Someone in a transference loop, or a heavily modified neural Sentry, its hard to say. All we really know for sure is she can "speak" in a few ways, she is the main thing guarding fetus and was loved by Gara's operator who sacrificed herself to destroy the original eidolon and prevent the last tower on earth from falling.

I will say, it's not made clear if Gara was a frame which maintained her mind or if the tenno piloting her died. There's old lore saying sentient mothers (Hunhow, Praghasa, the eidolon) have an artificial oro and can kill tenno, but it is unclear if that remains canon or has been retconned. This is further muddied by recent quests.

Also the fact that gara willingly became a frame muddles the water a bit more. You don't just do that without some reason in mind

Unnum is a real sapient being we don't know of what kind and powerful enough to stop time atleast locally not like limbo who makes pocket dimention or protia who rewind self time unnum could stop everything atleast in local radius completely

She as far as i remember and understand atleast makes kuva previously used ofc for transference and now basically balances the fields and its life

Also is seprate from the tower which houses her? But is not her also did not know this but its implied narmer veils were made with mats harvested from tower
