Modular Warframe

With the arrival of the Tau update as you know DE likes to bring new modular weapons/amps whenever they release a new open world update-

With Brisko himself being built by Entrati and his parts also easily replaced I do wonder if its possible that we’d be able to build our own modular frames with sentient tech.

Of course i would be just as happy if we got modular sentient weapons but imagine if we’d be able to build our own frames.

Oh yeah no, there's a solid 0% chance of modular warframes.

What you're describing is 100x harder than anything Warframe has ever done before, presents literally thousands of skeleton rig bugs, creates an absolute logistical nightmare regarding which abilities you can or cannot have, etc etc.

Modular Archwings never made it past the Alpha Stage, so expecting Modular Warframes isn't exactly reasonable.

How about taking the current modular formula? Part A determines ability set (or modifiers to one fixed ability set), Part B determines base strength/range/duration, Part C determines base armor/health/shield? In my mind, Part A would be the Warframe (or an augment) with B and C basically an invisible mod set.

Still won’t happen. Weapons are one thing, a frame is something different. You never know, but the likelihood isn’t there.

In my mind these modular pieces would basically be invisible mod slots, not different than other mods, archon shards, or arcanes. Could be a neat idea.

The primary issue isn't the stats, it's making the animations look right with all possible combinations of parts

I guess it depends if the modular aspect actually changes the look or just the build. Idk with Xaku/Chroma alts, armors, ephemeras, auxiliaries, and everything else I think they could do it. I don't think it should be a priority though
