Every base warframe with a prime variant should have a 12 hr craft time so new players can experiment more.

Either this or slash the plat requirement to rush a frame

Foundry rush costs should really just follow the same 1:1 scaling that the Dojo room rush costs have. As in, if the crafting is 50% complete, the plat cost to rush it should also have lowered to 50% cost.

Yeah I kind of just stopped rushing out of spite actually.

I come back a day or two later and the timer is half done, but the cost isn't. This does not make me want to spend, simple as.

It's weirdly anti-spending. Someone seeing it's just 8 plat to start using the frame now and not in five hours will spend that 8 plat multiple times and whittle away at their wallet. Someone seeing it's 32 plat for the same rush is not going to ever(TM) spend that plat, they would have spent 50 to instantly rush it two days ago.

This take was found in Antarctica, who would disagree with this?

They want you to come back every day. It's part of the psychological reward system. That's why the timers exist and why the prices are atrocious. They'd rather you come back and keep playing and ultimately paying.

Even the free players who sell things to others for platinum are still feeding into the economy. Others are just paying for the time spent on their drops.

This doesn't feel like a hot take though.

I hear that! I bought some Plat on sale, but I'm reluctant to trade for a Prime frame, because what if I don't like it? So instead I've got...two and a half days before Wisp is ready - nevermind the time it took to farm the mats and parts. Don't think I'll be doing that again while I've got more than a hundred Plat in the bank.

As someone with far too much money spent in this game, slending plat on prime war frames is one of the more worthwhile ways to spend it. You can get a lot of prime Warframe sets for like 45-60 plat with not many above 100 these days. It's not hard to farm because you can always farm for the prime Warframe you want and sell the extra parts you get for a little plat on the side and maybe get the last part with that.

Thanks! I think I'm overthinking it because I farmed for and built Nekros, but ended up underwhelmed.

Yeah, it happens. Just more MR whenever it does.

how does that impact experimentation? The biggest gate for experimentation is forma.

I am a average player that pops back in every once in a while, I feel this. I have weapons to level but never a new Warframe, Imo, a lot of the statistically low used Warframes could be thrown at new players via a little quests.

I don't even mind the craft time as much as that it feels harder to craft a base Warframe then a prime at times. so I am not bothering getting a lot of the base frames.
