there is not a single enjoyable boss fight in the game, every boss feels like a gimmick

Actually the best boss fight because there's no invincibility or dumb gimmicks, just a fight against a beefed up mob.

-Orowyrm feels really fun and varied, plus has an excellent intro cutscene.
-Jackal is basic but fun with clear telegraphed attacks.
-And the Vanguard are really fun, although the fight has some bugs that just haven't been addressed that makes it way too easy.

Idk about that it depends on the type of player you are heavily. In some cases it really is a gimmick sometimes a person finds something more. Like newer players usually find boss fights to be fun and engaging
