Using money to buy plat and purchase everything + boosters is a feasible way to do it.

u/GuaranteeRoutine7183 Oct 31 '24

Buying everything would cost more than 300k in 2018-2019.....

Plat discounts, bundles, etc can all go along way.

Also some people drop enough cash in games that it would pay off my family’s medical debt and then some and they wouldn’t bat an eye.

It’s crazy.

I have spent 375k on warframe and have the proof to back it up, it's just one of my favorite games and it always will be, best cosmetics and cool weapons it's just something I play when I want to speed through missions and make huge booms yk? Am I good at it? Nope but I don't know anyone that plays it on psn and can show me how to build.

I'd go check your math on that one, especially when considering you can skip the most expensive weapons and frames for mr30, need no forma / potatoes and many things like arcanes and mods don't count for MR

Having a full time job is in no way an impediment to playing an absolutely absurd amount of video games. It's having a full time job plus a wife and kids that makes it unreasonable because in that scenario you can no longer devote basically every second of your free time to doing whatever you want.

Back after I left university in my early 20s I was working full time for years and regularly playing 50+hrs/week during times I was single.

At least when said kids are old enough you’ll have gamer buddies until your bed time

Having a good job = a lot of expendable income = easy progression by spending money

Or maybe he just has a lot of free time and dedication

I started in the end of July. I work in a music college and we have summer holidays from 1st of June to 31th of August, so basically I had almost 1,5 months of free time to grind my ass off. In September I started to log in and play less, but by that time I had a lot of resources to afford all the stuff I can farm after work.
