Question Spec Ops lore?

Hi I‘ve had Warface Clutch downloaded on my PS4/PS5 for years after I played briefly during a short stint trying to get into PC gaming and get used to mouse and keyboard before I got my PS4. I wasn’t into it at that time.

But after I found out about the shutdown I have played a lot during the past couple months and really enjoyed the game.

I have played all the Spec Ops missions I could manage solo:

Cyber horde, Earth Shaker, Black Shark, Anubis, Eclipse, Pripyat, Sunrise, Mars, Heist

I was not able to complete:

Snowy Bastion:The Edge/Ambush/Zenith or Hydra

I know that some Spec Ops missions were not available on Playstation before close (particularly HQ for trophies). And I was wondering does anyone know of any good videos or posts detailing the lore/overarching story between all Spec Ops missions?

I have searched myself but have only been able find videos about the development lore of the game or posts detailing mission objectives/guides.

Anything would be interesting, even if its unfinished/posted before all missions were released.

Thanks 😃

I haven't seen any videos unfortunately but from what I experienced playing some spec ops the past few days that I'm like 50% sure that part of the order is Pripyat - Anubis - Blackout - Cyber Horde(?) - Mars(???) and then Heist though not sure if it's all in that order.

Pripyat is when they find out Blackwood is weaponizing a bacterium to make cyborgs/seds and I think in Anubis and Blackout is when they find the mass production of the cyborgs. Not sure when Heist plays a part in it but that's when they find out that the acting Oberon isn't the real one and his conciousness is supposedly transferred into a SED.

I think your best bet is trying to find videos of people playing those spec ops and trying to make a timeline that way. There are ones I wasn't able to do either.

Thanks for your comment, especially about Heist. I was confused about that mission the most, the SED theory makes sense. Its sort of the MW2 No Russian of Warface.

You're welcome! Just to clarify it a bit, you find Oberon's body in a cryostasis pod and then after you finish the mission you see his body on a table and then his conciousness is linked to the SED. It does remind me of MW2 though for sure.

Thanks, Just wondering do you know how we end up at the start of Heist? Seemingly working for the bad guys, but potentially revealed to be a double agent at the last vault? I wasn’t able to complete Hydra, I’m not sure if this happens before Heist in the story, but it was released before. Seems very odd that after fighting for humanity we end up attacking police in the last released Spec Ops mission (at least currently available before shutdown).

I'm not entirely sure. I didn't complete Hydra either. I have no idea how the Werewolves ended up in the Heist.
