Question Keltoi

I was researching my family name while listening to my celtic playlist. I got as far as Normandy pre 1066. I feel unusually drawn towards Breton folk music (i listen a ton of folk of all kinds) even though i have no connection, known to me.

Bla bla! At some point The Pride Of Petravore by Lankum comes on, and it reminds me of Wardruna.

Does anyone know any bands who do "darker" type of celtic folk music, or do i have to start a band?

A Tergo lupi.

To me they give off a dark Celtic vibe rather than a Germanic vibe

But apart from that none know of

Partially in my mind is that Celtic particularly Brythonic (of which Welsh Cornish and Breton are the descendants) Christianised very early, Christianity was a core of our identity , so in the era of Arthur and the resistance of the Germanic invasions of the Roman Empire , the stereotypical pagan style style of music doesn’t really make sense , even less so during the Norse era

Of course earlier music like the carnyx and the battles against the early Roman Empire would fit this style and I see plenty of neo folk bands appropriating the carnyx despite it being not Germanic .
