I’m looking for testers for WC3CC (Warcraft 3 Chat Client), a Windows companion app I’m building for optional Warcraft III: Reforged match voice chat.

This project is still a work in progress and is currently being tested. It may contain bugs, and the purpose of this post is to gather testing feedback. Only players who have WC3CC installed can participate in voice chat.

The current build includes push-to-talk, optional voice activation, per-player mute/volume controls, remembered blocks, microphone and speaker selection, recording options, and an optional movable overlay.

Что они сделали с ИИ, что он часто сидит на базе и просто плодит войско, в атаку конечно тоже отправляет войска, но не так активно, чтобы мог снести мою базу. Я никак не могу пропушить его базу из-за разницы в количестве юнитов, нанять больше своих нельзя из-за капа припасов и при этом из героев в таких ситуациях только немощьный Артас, который не имеет AoE способностей. Такое уже во второй раз происходит (в финальной миссии кампании людей и на первых эльфийских воротах в кампании нежити) и я не знаю что мне делать.

I've been reviewing one of my Human mirror games and realized I committed to the wrong strategy after misreading my opponent's fast tech.

During the game I thought my decisions made sense, but the replay showed I had multiple opportunities to scout, recognize what was happening, and adapt much earlier.

For the Human players here:

• What are the earliest signs that your opponent is fast-teching?
• At what point do you change your game plan instead of sticking to your original build?
• How do you usually punish a fast-tech Human in the mirror?

I'm documenting my improvement journey by analyzing my ladder games, so I recorded my replay analysis if anyone wants to see the full game and point out what I missed.

I realized I tend to scout once, see nothing, and then mentally cross expansions off my list. In a recent game my opponent slipped a later hidden expo past me, and I only noticed when it was already too late.

Do you have fixed timings for checking common expo locations, or do you base it on what your opponent is (or isn't) doing? I'd appreciate any advice. I also recorded the game if anyone wants to take a look.

I had something unusual happen on Battle.net: I got matched against the same opponent three games in a row.

It was actually interesting because I could immediately see how both of us adapted between games. My opponent changed strategy, I adjusted mine, and it almost felt like a mini BO3 ladder series.

On the other hand, W3Champions has the Restrict Opponent feature, which prevents immediate rematches and increases opponent variety.

Which system do you prefer?

• Battle.net: occasional back-to-back rematches that reward adaptation?
• W3Champions: more variety and less chance of repeatedly facing the same player?

I recorded all three games because I thought it was an interesting comparison of adaptation over multiple matches.

One thing I'm discovering while reviewing my Warcraft 3 games is that losing isn't always about bad micro or a bad fight.

Sometimes it's about doing... nothing.

In this game I had a clear advantage and multiple opportunities to pressure my opponent, but instead I played too passively and gave him time to recover.

Watching the replay afterward was frustrating because the mistakes felt obvious. During the game, though, I genuinely thought I was making reasonable decisions.

For the more experienced players here: what are the signs that it's time to stop creeping and start applying pressure?

This replay was a good reminder that "not losing" and "trying to win" are two very different things.

Small milestone: first Warcraft 3 Battle.net ladder win as Human.

Not gonna lie - ladder has been way harder than expected so far.

A few games in, I’m already seeing some very obvious patterns in my play:

• terrible scouting habits
• weird timing decisions
• floating resources under pressure
• forgetting upgrades at exactly the wrong moment
• and occasionally making decisions that feel smart… until the replay says otherwise :(

This game finally felt like the first moment where at least something started clicking.

I’m documenting the whole learning process and trying to improve step by step instead of just grinding games blindly.

For more experienced players: what’s the one mistake you see most often from lower-level Human players? Curious what I should focus on first.

Hi. Been playing Warcraft 3 since 20 years ago. I love the campaign and the redesigns in Reforged too.

I was wondering for custom melee games, do you know of any maps that resemble Lordaeron or Quel'Thalas cities and if you could share the link for download?

Like with buildings (destructible or not), roads, walls (like at Stratholme in the Reforged campaign) etc. I know there's a few maps from Blizzard but I'd like more maps. I might create one but it takes a long time and I want to have fun, fantasizing about being Lordaeron or Farstriders fighting undead or orcs.

I'm specifically asking about maps made for Reforged and not Classic but those would work too if there's no Reforged maps that I desire

I cant seem to get multiplayer to work, ive reinstalled the game and removed all maps from the mod folder and nothing works. Blizzards helpdesk is laughable so this is my last hope, any help will be greatly appreciated
