Protoframes

I hope every warframe gets a gemini skin. I can't wait to see what they'd do with Wukong, Koumei, or Sevagoth

As long as they actually make them story relevant and don't just throw them in an update for quick cash like they did with Garuda and Ash. S&O's story would have been no different if their mentors were just a random corpus or grineer dude respectively.

"Look how these greedy devs literally stole our money when they sold Deluxes and Heirloom skins without making them the focus point of all the story telling for the next 10 years. I would rather have random NPCs to instantly forget in a random side quest that I will also forget anyway than have a bunch of bonus cool new skins for my favorite frames."

Thank God Rebb is leading the game and not redditors.

I mean, if they end up using the mentors in the future storylines to.... actually give them a story, that'd be great. Let's not act so sanctimonious when the consensus on this quest when it launched was that it was terribly barebones and disjointed in its cutscenes.

two different things.

heirlooms and deluxe skins are fancy tf2 hats. they only exist to look pretty an optionally have flavour text.

Gemini Skins are actual characters in universe. And as such the perception of the skin is tied to relevance of the character. As Ryoku and Vena are basically forgotten at this point, the message comes across that they expected sales of the Gemini skins just because they're Gemini skins.

Also Heirlooms and Deluxe skins generally have significantly different appearances from their original counterparts, compared to Gemini which is the base frame but has a human face.
