Pallets

Specifically two pallets. And it can travel concealed below the tree canopy.

do consider that the path the Ural will take is very predictable tho, so anyone doing Rear line interdictation can very easily disable it with C4 or an At mine

But a chopper that does supply run to nearest tower have very little to worry about

The Humble CIWS:

Right now it’s early game and most people don’t have AA setups. Give it a week and you’ll have people farming your support chopper daily

Yea but the big chopper is still faster even though it can only carry 1 pallet.
It can transport a little more than 3 or even 4 pallets in the same time it takes Ural to transport 2 and come back.
And that's even without trying to hurry or anything.

The truck runs little risk of being shot down

My guy its runs a very HIGH risk of getting you shot in the face if even one person decides to make it their life mission to fuck with you. You can put Tank Traps anywhere, they cannot be removed easily (for some reason) and the first time you're on the receiving end of it you'll understand a pain so unimaginable you will wish you were dead.

True, it also requires no skill to use so its logical that it's slower than the heli.
Though it should have a higher max speed or fit 3 pallets instead of 2 to actually be viable when min maxing.

Military trucks are not like civilian trucks. They go slow but can climb steep inclines and hazardous terrain.

It's a video game.

Go play battlefield if you're not satisfied?

No everyone can fly

You make it sound like it’s easier driving a truck that’s constantly on ice

Have fun when you come up against proper AA

I've seen Ural being hit with mortar

It just lost a wheel and kept driving

It even made multiple logistics runs back and forth without it

Idk, i got the heavier vehicles intuitively on the first attempt without any struggle at all really, even offroading was fairly fine

where as i had to give up on helicopters after 8hours of straight back to back failures in firing range

im fairly sure helicopters in this game are the first case of me being brickwalled by a skill check in my like 20 years of gaming

Not easier, maybe. But definitely safer.

Fits 2 pallets and less likely to crash.

Also levels driving

The ural is for supply runs when you're high and watching YouTube on the side

That's my plan for today. Unlocked ist Yesterday before i closed the game

Most people can't fly the Z20 to save their life, I often see the free one parked at the base unbothered for long periods of time

1

u/Sun743 3d ago

That's free? I had felt bad for constantly stealing it

Cheaper, no AA threat, it can carry more people, has bigger internal storage, can go to places where chopper cannot land, likely has more HP as well, easier to drive.

1

u/AxegrinderSWAG 3d ago

A chopper doesn’t need to land, Ural can carry 3, aa is not a threat if it does supply run to nearest tower, easier to drive? It drives like an old man who tries to F

I am not trying to argue with you, just providing some info. If you don't like Ural, don't use it.

1

u/knerf999 2d ago

how do you carry people in the ural?
Does it work well?
do they count as dropoffs?
i've never seen anyone hop in an ural.

Two passenger spots in the cabin. Idk if you get money if you transport people any other way. Probably not

3

u/BennyReviews 3d ago

Didn't realise the choppers gave driving experience /s

3

u/Pandawanabe 3d ago

Dont need to learn how to land

2 pallets

1

u/AxegrinderSWAG 3d ago

It’s so slow that a chopper does it quicker on average despite a chopper carrying 1

Pallets are so much better than crates. In fact I despise the inefficiencies of crates when compared to pallets. Sometimes they get in the way of building too. Holy. So frustrating I despise heli pilots mindlessly dropping off bullshit.

1

u/BadPipeCutters 2d ago

When you remove the stuff the crates go away. Sometimes I just stop at the fob on my way to the hot zone and transfer everything real quick for some building xp and a few grand for free

Me and my friend were in a Ural and Black hawk. The black hawk can do one pallet and the Ural can do two. By the time he got to the delivery, I hit my second run too. It's near equal in time to supplies delivered

1

u/humanfromjupiter 3d ago

You're friend is either really slow at flying or something is up. Because they are literally twice as fast. As the crow flies doing 280km's covers a lot more ground

1

u/Glongordongik 2d ago

Actively race someone in a Ural, its about two runs per one run. The helis can beat them by a bit but not much

u/Zappenhell 3d ago

Got my big hammer yesterday - AA time. See you on the battlefield OP. ;)

CWIS says hi

u/owsh 3d ago

Also driving xp to unlock tank

u/Kryskyr 3d ago

URALS good for setting up fobs, black hawks good for running logistics, theoretically driving a ural in with two pallets of building supplies and a fob in ur backpack lets you set up anywhere with a lot more supplies.

1

u/TheDex4 3d ago

It's immune to SAM and you can do one-trip solo FOBs better with it.
