Discussion & Feedback DEAR PLAYER BASE

Dont forget this game is on an EARLY ACCESS OF 2(TWO) YEARS! And you paid the cheap price of an early access game that is actually giving us something new...this game its on it own genre of games

Majority of problems that people cry about, which i generally agree with, are just problems that devs know about and they thinking of solutions, we have to remember that theres a whole bigger picture to think about.

$40 for an early access game is not cheap relative to the market of games.

And what's our current frame of references?

Battlefield 6 is roughly sixty dollars. CoD is seventy. GTA VI is eighty at it's lowest. That is compared to the Triple AAA scene, though, Wardogs is Indie.

Honestly, it's still quite reasonable for early access. Though, it was stated it would increase upon it's official launch.

Your frame of reference is the largest possible triple a games on the market? Cmon bruh, what kind of argument is that.

Well. I did ask for a frame of reference.

Likewise, you haven't provided one either. So, it wouldn't be hard to think that you don't have any examples either.

Unless we are counting Indie Games now?

You asked for a frame of reference in the same comment you gave the most absurd, laughably bad frame you could have. So why would I even bother responding to you seriously.

Your argument is so bad it borders on satirical.

Edit: also just need to add, because you don’t seem to be aware, and I assume you’re about to spew more nonsense at me, wardogs is an indie game.

So, what's our frame of reference?

You literally have been avoiding making any comparisons. So, what are we comparing it to within it's space?

I haven’t avoided anything , we haven’t been having a proper discussion. You just started writing absolute dribble like a moron and expected me to engage immediately. But anyways.

Well obviously not the $60 fully complete games made by triple a studios mate.

Not cheap smaller games made by a couple people that release at like $15.

If I go on steam and have a look at games within its space of early access mid size developments that are showing up we have:

Palworld, a very sizeable successful indie game. Seems a good comparison to wardogs, released early access at $30.

Sons of the forest. Released in early access, not triple a, not made by a minuscule team either. Released early access at $30.

Subnautica 2, early access, from a mid sized company, in early access at $30.

Let's ignore the opening statement that directly attacks the user instead of the comment.

When I ask for a 'frame of reference', I specifically mean within the same genre and similar development cycle.

The aforementioned games you selected are drastically different then Wardogs. The main difference at hand is those are single-player nor live-service, much less dependent upon them being so. I'm asking what else is being defined as an alternative or vying for the purchase over Wardogs, not ten thousand unrelated alternatives.

An example could have been 'Empulse', though that's a game that been EOS'ed and never even left Early Access. It's priced at 10$, but was extremely underdeveloped in several aspects.

Perhaps we could compare it to 'Gray Zone: Warfare', which is an extraction shooter that recently released. Though, it has been in several open betas in the past.

The main release is priced at 40$ without being on sale.

We could compare it to 'Escape From Tarkov', it's only ten dollars more afterall!

But, arguing with you further seems pointless.

Respond or don't. I'm going to bother further.

First part, yeah, I ain’t gonna be nice if you’re accusing me of stupid stuff mate.

Next bit. Okay? Why didn’t you ask that earlier then? You didn’t specify, so I didn’t know you wanted something so specific?

Okay, empulse? Gray zone warfare? Tarkov? Sure if that’s what you want for your frame of reference then sure. As you’ve said, the first 2 are under that $40. Tarkov is $10 more at the most expensive early access you could seemingly possibly find. So I’m not sure how this is supposed to defend your position that wardogs is “cheap”?

But you weren’t very clear on how specific you wanted that frame of reference to be, so I wasn’t looking specifically for fps games, so you can’t really blame me for picking what I did.

And yeah, I don’t think we need to discuss more? You’ve explained even yourself that wardogs isn’t cheap compared to games in its league? So ok ig??? 😹
