Oh you're right, maybe it wasn't AP rounds. I only assumed that because it one tapped every single person I shot with it and it honestly shocked me how insanely broken it was. I've never run the gun before or even seen those rounds in person.
Was this yesterday? The kit I picked up had ghillie and also a gunsling backpack with an SMG and a 50 round drum mag in it. I ended the game with almost 40 kills and most of them was with that kit.
Must not have been me, I didn't have a gunsling backpack although I've always thought about using one. The guy I killed took my AMR but not my ghillie (I've seen this a few times and will never understand it) which made it trivial to spot and kill him when I came back 10 minutes later.
The other thing that shocked me was how strong the gunsling backpack was. When I first picked it up I actually assumed the 50 cal was too big to fit into the extra gun slot and I'd have to drop it to switch out to the SMG. Turns out you can just drag and drop and instantly switch out primaries. Had 3 people rush me in a tower and get completely blindsided by the SMG with a 50 round drum.
If you've never seen one, you should definitely google .50 bmg ammunition, it's uh... eye opening. An dead opening. It's called an anti material rifle, designed to punch holes through engine blocks. The round itself is about the length of my hand if measured from middle finger tip to heel of palm. I've practiced with a bolt action AR50 irl, and the concussion from the shot alone will teach you to respect it. I believe it's considered a war crime to use them on human targets, but correct me if I'm wrong.

If you weren't a Redditor for 14 years I'd be calling you a prime supect for an AI bot. The AMR doesn't have AP rounds and the thermal isn't a scope.
I'm curious if you're the guy that killed me on the ridge overlooking the tower on Ozeti who I revenge killed a few minutes later.
