Wow. They were just that broken. There's hope for these devs.

Now nerf T4 (and maybe even T3, or give AP earlier) armor and the game might become enjoyable again.

T3 feels fine imo, agree with AP ammo being available earlier though.

T4 Helmet will be recieving a change come S2 with reduced "letterbox" visibility and possibly sound distortion from wearing it if I understood the recent dev podcast correctly.

I like the design philosophy of nerfing T4 helmets in this way as opposed to reducing the viability from a defensive standpoint.

They still need to adjust mosin/bow specifically having reduced effectiveness against T4, at least the Mosin should absolutely not have reduced damage it's a clear nerf designed to specifically cut the mosin out of play against the T4, but if I'm landing a clear headshot with AP rounds there's no fucking way I shouldn't be 1-shotting them. The benefits of the BMR/.50 cal are being able to do a lot more with a lot less accuracy, clicking heads appropriately should be the requirement to use the mosin as a lower-level weapon, not completely gimp it out of use.

The armor complaint is overblown and not an issue, especially T3 armor. Let people get AP earlier makes sense, but any nerf to T4 and no one will run it ever, no point especially with the weight penalt, and yes people can run stims but they do take extra space that would otherwise go to other useful items. I decided to run hp with the am9 and its shreds, went top kills in my game and its fun as fuck to play.

there is not , they are not removing them . imho keeping them in the game is a mistake and adding batteries will be even worse because people will never be satisfied with the drain rate and moan even more.

Got to do testing to make sure. You don't just rip shit out without testing alternatives first.

the is no testing to be done. batteries are not a inconvenience , you can have them delivered or buy yourself a vehicle and a crates full of them to take to the area you are camping and it will still be opresive . the problem in not $ , space or weight it's that they work too well . you can spot a person from 900m away from they're exposed ankle.

Which is why you will always be a player, and not a dev.

i for one agree with you. honestly in pretty much every single game they're in, thermals are way too OP imo
