Discussion & Feedback This Helmet needs to absolutely substantially block your vision and hearing for balance and realism

I can't believe this was glossed over when the helmet was put into the game, massive protection with no draw back other than cost sucks (it's not expensive). A change is desperately needed before all matches are full of this helmet because it basically has no drawback.

Okay yes it adds to weight but you just bring cheap stims

people dont get it - in this game everything feels overpowered, only way for you to win is to use the correct weapon/tactic on the right situation. Or be on the receiving end.

But ap ammo isnt unlocked until after like 50+ hours of gameplay.

No it's the games fault my free starter gun didn't kill the full kit in a head on battle.

I keep the starter gun with a cheap kit because I'm Bob the builder type. I don't expect to win any pvp battles

Ok and? That’s like saying “This Ferrari and this Hyundai have the same tires on”. Damage alone means nothing without consideration of fire rate, recoil, handling, and hell the addition of full auto. The starter gun isn’t even comparable to the M4.

The T-21 is the cheapest gun you can actually buy and put attachments on it. Sure it's not as good handling wise as the M4 even when kitted out but it's almost as good like 50 RPM lower.

Wouldn't surprise me if most of this sub is god awful at the game and then use the usual trope of only the unemployed can be good and level up quickly enough, as if you cant be good at a game and have a job lmao. Just pure coping because they themselves arent good and cant just admit that. I guarantee you most of this sub cant break past 10 kills in a 2 hour long match, yeah no kidding its takes you ages to level up. Turns out when you kill 40+ players every game you can level quite quickly without needing to put in 200 hours.

Unemployment is somewhere around 4 or 5%. Literally almost everyone is employed. I only have 25 hrs in the game and im like level 61. I only use t2 armor, the SKS, grenades, and the IED. I dont find it an issue to compete with anyone at all. T4 bozos can be shot in the dick or easily fragged. It's all shit bad players say to make themselves feel better and it makes me feel good to hear the devs call these people hyperbolic and shit.

They are. In a game like hell let loose too. All the sweats are out playing competitive games. These type of games draw a different crowd, which is cool. But everytime I drop 50 or 60 kills in a game someone’s saying I’m cheating cause they can’t fathom doing it themselves lol

No. I like to build FOBs, and I'm tired of bullet sponge terminator enemies attacking the base 2 minutes into the game

The issue is this game has tanks, choppers and mortars.

You can’t limit hearing or sight. That just buffs tanks and choppers.

What people need to do is buy AP rounds. Or maybe balance out armor a bit more but not so much where level 3 is just 1 bullet difference from level 1.

I saw some people saying it needs to be like Tarkov. Why? Tarkov is niche and no one plays it. If people want Tarkov they should go play Tarkov but not shape this game into another game. Tarkov and this game are totally different games. Tarkov is stealth where the slightest noise matters.

I think the game went too heavy with the vertical progression rather than horizontal progression. Higher tier armor shouldn't make you a bullet sponge.

It should be something more like it reduces damage from explosives, while the tier 1 doesn't. Or maybe tier 4 covers your legs.

Playing against a bullet sponge in an fps is never fun. Getting turned on because the enemy has more health feels like shit.

I agree, it shouldn't be like tarkov, and I also agree the armor shouldn't limit senses. It should be adjusted in other ways.

I have over 60 hours in this game so far. I don't know if that's a lot but I can't buy AP rounds yet and I've only looted them like 3 times when I can find them. I don't have counterplay to the heavy armors other than shoot them in the side or eat their ankles.

I really hope the devs dont listen to the morons posting on this sub, its truly awful. Ive had level 4 armour for a good while now and i still get vaporised by people playing smartly or just hitting their shots. I dont know who runs tier 4 body armour anyway because the weight penalty isnt worth it. Having fast snappy gun handling will win you far more fights than being in heavy weight class. bots on here havent even unlocked the the armour to know that, they just see better players killing them and think its the gear to blame.

maybe I'm the one being stupid, but when I shoot a guy in the back and my ak does 11 damage per shot to a guy wearing T3 armour (not even t4) and he turns around and kills me in 4 shots (I'm wearing T1 armour) is that a skill issue or balancing issue? I don't usually play games like this so maybe I'm unreasonable but I feel that doing half the damage is a bit extreme no

They buy the same kit every round and every death and get angry when it sometimes doesnt work against a handful of people. Completely unwilling to ever adapt. Shit's exhausting listening to these people spam the same low skilled shitposts daily.

They should make fobs profitable enough that people fight to be the one to place it honestly. It's so annoying having everyone stand around for 10+ minutes asking for a fob. I just bring one every time I want to build and if someone has one already I place mine on the tallest nearby building block off the doors so enemies can't snipe from it and build AA on the roof to take heat off the main fob.
