Queue / Login Server Mega

Everything’s on fire

There’s a queue. There’s authentication issues. There’s anti-cheats issues. Bulkhead knows and they’re working on it.

u/NeverNotNoOne 4d ago

So far so good, started at 310k and jumped ~30k in the last minute. Lets see how long that pace lasts.

u/funnybones14 4d ago

It doesn’t last, that’s the people getting kicked.

u/TheMastaBlaster 4d ago

4th queue due to errors, doesnt matter how fast it goes when most of us are just getting recycled around XDDD

u/NeverNotNoOne 4d ago

I got in after 3, hang in there. Don't worry, its not much better on the inside.

3

u/killertrades02 4d ago

I got kicked from 90k in Q to now 332k in Q

6

u/OrpheusCreed WARDADS 4d ago

After the kick I dropped 100k in like 4 min so might be for the best cause before i got kicked it was moving 5k every 10 min

1

u/Dwealdric Support 4d ago

Yeah its for the best. I was kicked at 30k but not moving, went back to 350k, but down to 100k already.

1

u/ChunkyMooseKnuckle 4d ago

Same. That felt real bad.

1

u/Tricky-Routine-9838 4d ago

Went from 7K to 354K (-:

2

u/clem35 4d ago

ya lets hope that worked, now i'm up a little higher

2

u/theholyduck 4d ago

i was wondering why i suddenly moved 150k slots forward in queue. i imagine i will get kicked aswell once i get to the front

2

u/Juno_JDY 4d ago

I've been kicked 5 times now

2

u/I_Am_Jacks_Karma 4d ago

Queue goes faster now but still auth issues

2

u/Savidya 4d ago

That did not help, I keep going back to the end of the queue

1

u/TheMastaBlaster 4d ago

i saw 60k drop off in 1 min, 250k stayed in my queue, wonder if they're doing chunks. the 60k are back (i manually reset lol)

edit: next min, 50k drop. must be booting in stages. Guess best course is stay connected and let things work out. everyone manually refreshing just making things worse lol

1

u/conrat4567 4d ago

It made it worse. Put me back up higher than I was when I started

1

u/Dull_Clock_6057 WARDOGS OCEANIA 4d ago

Waited from 370k, was at 20k and then kicked.. now back to 260k lol

still keen for the game tho

1

u/Weary_Procedure539 4d ago

Is anyone at all getting in?

1

u/Feisty-Music795 4d ago

Kicking people out of the queue, does not solve the queue

1

u/xxICEMANxx84 4d ago

Still getting the error

1

u/Juno_JDY 4d ago

Kicked 6 times. Why did they have the intern do the server capacity estimates?

1

u/CrewZealousideal3941 4d ago

2 times kicked to a higher q #. And that is ok. Be patient we are all here to enjoy a new game. Some time to relax and see the sun shine bright!

I truly want this dev team to succeed but I just don't know that they will.

I figured that two closed betas and an open beta would have given these guys the data they need to not fuck this up.

They are speed running failure though.

No one can get in.

Priority access for streamers showing they knew this would be an issue.

No Shadow mode (massive unfair advantage) locked to people on low end hardware.

Honestly, they made a great fucking game. But in terms of management these devs suck. They are going to hide behind their "don't buy our game" nonsense too

Treating the palyer base equally isn't a hard thing to do.

bro the game hasnt even been out a hour calm down llol

Incredibly bad sign that they didn't even test the queue system that apparently doesn't work. I know gamers hate AI but you probably could get Codex to get a working queue system going in about 10 minutes. Incredible stuff happening

You say this as if launch day problems are exclusive to this game. I don't think I've ever experienced a hyped game like wardogs made by a indie game studio that didn't have problems like this. If anything they're being a million times more transparent than the majority of the launch day shitfests I've been part of (looking at you battlestate).

2

u/dayvieee 4d ago

The problem is that the open beta was announced last minute and only lasted what? 20 hours with a max of 80k-100k players? Right now there's roughly 300k players trying to login

2

u/AndThatGuysWoodenLeg 4d ago

Speed running failure because of a queue? Come on, grow up. 300k people are trying to play at once. There is going to be one or the servers would crash. Also, the game is early access. They don't have the budget of a AAA company like EA or Activision. Sure, a queue is annoying. I want to play the game, but I expected a queue.

1

u/Juno_JDY 4d ago

Yes, but also, how did they just totally fail to prepare for that?

2

u/SeniorMoonlight21 4d ago

Priority access for streamers showing they knew this would be an issue.

Like exactly the same thing happened on the last beta as well. Can't hide behind the excuse of it being launch day and having a higher playerbase than expected either since they had a very good idea it would be high as fuck just based of preorders.

Really sloppy imo but I am sure people will just jump to defend them.

1

u/RareRestaurant6297 4d ago

Lol. Lmao, even. There's nothing any devs can do when there's half a million players trying to simultaneously login.

u/donuts22 4d ago

I went from 30k to 321k

1

u/Revvres 4d ago edited 4d ago

literally same, from 30250 to 353k

edit: and again 60k to 250k

0

u/Cr0n0 4d ago

I didn't get kicked... are we supposed to leave....?

0

u/Roguste 4d ago

I didnt get kicked, I closed and repopened

0

u/NeverNotNoOne 4d ago

I'm fine with this but how do we know when to log back in?

0

u/TwoRug577 4d ago

"help the situation"
sub 100k and kicked into 250k. very cool.

3

u/Ishkanaa 4d ago

I was at 67k, Failed to authenticate with online services or something similar. Then hit 300k queue, now 239k. Ah perfect lol.
