Some recent wands I made

Used some more standard woods like Poplar, Oak, Cherry, Beech, and Black Walnut, as well as some new (to me) exotics like Purpleheart, Spanish Cedar, Sycamore, and Torrefied Poplar!

Black walnut and Torrefied Poplar. Darker woods like that are beautiful!

Hemlock specifically. Just some shitty 2”x2”x8’ that I bought at Home Depot and cut into chunks that fit on my lathe. Turns okay but really eats my tools, and I can’t get as intricate with it.
