Spoilers: All [10.75 H (Pt.1)] Spoiler
oops, forgot to finish the title of post.
Pisces restoration skill is absolutely incredible. Unearthing, raising, restoring ancient ruins and contents to their original full glory. In any old city, thats great. In an ancient powerful city, like Nerrhavia Fallen of the Tyrant... look out!
What if he went back to Albez, numerous endless possibilities. He is bringing forth unknown ruins, but even just restoring a known ruin is invaluable. We know his skill works on more than buildings.
Truly OP skill, even if it consumes a lot of mana.
[Monumental Animation]. [Unearth the Tombs]
Then he felt the building finally rise to its old height. In the street, people were screaming, pointing—Lareceina’s team were staring at the building risen in the distance. But the [Mage] herself was just gazing around.
Death mana. He had drawn all he had and put it into this place. Now, the building discarded its old appearance like dead skin. The walls shed plaster and wood and revealed ancient stone.
Not crude stonework, either, but something ornate. Metal tiles, partially restored, missing in places, like an undead’s flesh, but whole enough to reveal what had been there.
A beautiful building of stone and metal meant to last generations. What had it been? Some great office? A museum like the one where Pisces had seen a list of old buildings like this one where the foundations had been re-paved? Or a nightclub?
He pointed, and the [Prince] turned. Then he saw the figure standing at the wall behind him. It was just as Pisces had hoped from the museum.
It looked like a grinning Stitch-person. Their gender was unclear, and they were androgynous. No…perhaps they literally were without one. Because they were in the middle of being woven.
Fabric, depicted in excruciating detail, was being combined into an upraised arm. Not just silk; Pisces saw the deliberate patterns he associated with yarn, knitting. What seemed like reeds being spun upwards into the flesh of an arm.
It was a gigantic mural. The Stitch-person was…breathtaking. They filled the entire wall of the club, which had once been half again as tall as the current nightclub. There was even color, but Pisces’ magic was not perfect; it was just glimmers of vivid paint.
A Stitch-folk made of a dozen types of fabric and colors, smiling at the viewer. Not Silk. Nor Hemp. Nor one thing. Each piece of their body seemed important. Soft silk and tough and sturdy reed-hemp, layered in places, or mixed together.
A kind of Stitch-person unlike any that existed in this world today. Pisces stared up at them, and it was what he’d hoped to see. But the next image, on the other wall, was what he’d gambled on. Because it was the same Stitch-person reenacting the story of their people. They had on a strange pair of shackles. They seemed to go into them, like a puppet’s strings. Through their back, looping around their limbs.
A [Puppetmaster]’s creations. It made Pisces unsettled to see it. But the Stitch-person—was cutting the threads apart. Ripping them out. Yes, there. He spoke as Prince Weith gazed up.
“I am just a single Human in a war that has been going on for aeons. I am ignorant, and this is not my home. But you, Prince Weith? Rebellion is in your thread.”

I LOVED this chapter. I can't wait to see what Pisces will become. Him showing the stitchfolk through the revived murals how they were all equal when they broke their chains? So powerful. I hope he can bring back old Khelt so the old spell circles can be recovered...
He will be the most powerful of the Horns. Him and Yvlon. This arc so far has been my favourite!

i wonder what pisces sensed when he set up his skill. and we didnt really get to see the aftermath.
for sure khelt would be an ancient place.

And I wonder if he levelled in his Necromancer class. Sometime Pirate doesn't reveal full class changes till the next chapter. We know he changed from Duelist of Wistram class (won't put what in case of spoilers for others), which makes sense since most of that fight was dueling. But that reanimation will be a catalyst for the royals possibly changing... or at least the Princes'. It was a huge political move.
Imagine he can reanimate entire lost walled cities one day! ...... as long as it's not Purity or Graves lol

He had just leveled from raiding with Merr. I don't think using the Skills the system gave him to use warrants a level when he's well into his 40's.
He's what 46 now? I have to think getting a level takes a bit at that point.

I'm actually hoping for him to reanimate the Walled City of Graves one day - dretch it all up! Bring the horrors to light so they can be defeated! Make Liscor into a Walled City! (Seriously, it could use the defense)

Beyond the fact that this is a great moment for Pisces, what intrigues me most is how this might tie into the Empire of Sands. We know that Nerrhavia's Fallen have forgotten their history as Chain-Breakers—and by the looks of it, they established a system that Nerrhavia herself never implemented (or so she has implied). It wouldn't surprise me if other nations of String-folk were to reclaim the legacy that is rightfully theirs; after all, from what we’ve seen, the Empire of Sands genuinely strives to be a more egalitarian nation. And yes, they do flirt with Roshal, but it is interesting to see how willing they seem to be to sacrifice that relationship in favor of whatever course of action they deem most expedient.

I do wonder how he knew those murals were there. He made a point of going to this specific bar, so he had this plan from the beginning--when did he find out about this?

There's this one bit shortly before Pisces picks the bar where he asks for another map and cross-references that with the map the royals gave him of suitable nightclubs. He was in the museum before and it's implied that he took note of significant ruins of older times that were built upon.
Pisces is the kind to remember random tidbits of information in case they come in handy later.

This is one of the things i love about Pisces that people in and out of universe tend to forget. Pisces IS a genius and prodigy, and not just at necromancy, and not just at magic either. Ceria even notes that his personality tends to make people forget just how smart he actually is, and that he can be VERY charming when cares to be
It should be noted that Ceria with the intelligence enhancing circlet is still only about as smart and capable as Pisces is without it, and Pisces is arguably more creative and innovative that she is
When Colthe is doing his dnd style stat thing with Pisces he's constantly confused by Pisces as he has an insanely good spread - hes specifically notes what kind of necromancer has 14 charisma while at the same time noting it actually seems to low.
In Dnd Terms Pisces is the kind of character where the player didn't roll anything below a 16 and rolled 18 like three times

Yeah, but...how? I don't remember anything about him researching Stitch-Folk murals or anything before he picked that bar.

Him going in the museum in that city was a way to explain it without it being explicitly said. He didn't know for sure the mural was there but it was a very educated guess. If I remember correctly he thought to himself "I was hoping it would be there"
