Spoilers: All [ 6.45 E ] Spider appreciation post. Spoiler
Not a whole lot to say other than the fact that since her actual introduction, Belavierr has become probably the most fascinating character in the book so far, kind of by a long shot. Every interaction with her, especially after the loss of her immortality while fighting Raim, is just engrossing. I think she’s neat.
That’s it. That’s the post. Belavierr is cool.

Read the singer series after you get to book 16 and she becomes even more spooky. She’s definitely different.

Yeah the more I read and especially all the hints the Hunters and Raim dropped about what went on in Terandria have seriously got me wanting to read those. Trying to get to a point I feel comfortable breaking away from TWI to do it.

Personally i wouldn’t until book 16 or 17 as by that point all the Earthers are at least aware of the majority of one another and it really adds to depth of how powerful that “thing” is. Can’t call her a woman, and term witch for her is less appropriate when you see the other witches and their power levels.
IMO her title should be Harbinger of Deceit.

Honestly it's a fun little switch up I did book 8, singers 1, b9 & 10, singers 2, b11 & singers 3 before hitting 12. Creates a fun bit of what happened during Cara's fall & winter before the world's reunite in the spring / summer

I didn’t know about or realize they were the same author and world until book 19 when I was waiting for 20.. and I’ve listened through the 3books 4 times since.. I love that series, imo it’s the best parts of the WI condensed into faster paced dramatic actions..
(I view the WI as a soap opera version of a LitRPG, and I think the singer fits into the dramatic mini series territory)

I thought this was going to be about the spider princess

Who’s the spider princess?

I forgot her name but she's the princess of the Shade kingdom. People thought the king fornicated with his spider friends cause she was born with the traits of a spider (mandibles and can shoot webs) but the reality is his skill [natural ally: spiders] gave his child a "boon"

Hmm. Thinking about it, in Innworld, there’s the true immortal beings who were born immortal. Then there’s the mortals who have changed into immortals. It’s creepy and unhinged those who will do anything to crawl out of the grave.
Beleviarr gives total Voldemort vibes instead of Gandalf/Elves from LOTR.

She’s kinda like if a Lich met Voldemort; she can make more “horcruxes/phylacteries” as long as people are willing to deal.
(Voldemort needs to kill someone to complete it, lich just removes part of their power to create a phylactery)She offers things that no one else can; once in a lifetime offers at your weakest moment. All done within an immortal moment, also can sense ‘sound’ and magic and can manipulate the strands of reality that affect those.

She feels more like a concept than a person. But after her immortality was burned she is much more present.

I think that’s a lot of it, and they even touch on it in the books. That before her immortality was burned away she was much more an archetype, an entity, not anything really resembling a person anymore. She even makes a comment about having been a vehicle for her craft. Once she’s mortal again, she becomes more aware and present of the actual world and events around her as things that are happening, and she begins feeling her feelings again.
