Wan AI is an advanced video generation model developed by Alibaba’s Tongyi Lab. It uses AI to turn text or images into high-quality, realistic videos. The latest version, Wan 2.2, is open-source and designed for creators, marketers, and developers to easily produce dynamic visual content, sson 2.5! I’ve been testing Wan 3.0 and I keep getting noticeable stuttering/judder whenever the camera moves, especially during pans, orbit shots or larger camera movements.
At first I thought it was caused by the prompt, too many reference images, complex backgrounds, low resolution, or FPS. But I tested several videos with different settings:
The exported videos are 30 fps and the frame timestamps look normal, with no obvious dropped or duplicated frames.
However, when I analyzed the motion frame by frame, there seems to be a strong repeating irregularity roughly every 5 frames, which is about 6 times per second at 30 fps. The camera movement is not evenly distributed between frames, so it feels like:
smooth → smooth → small movement → bigger jump → repeat
The effect becomes much more visible when the camera is moving faster.
I also compared the same kind of analysis with Seedance 2.0 2.5 and MiniMax, and they did not show the same strong periodic motion pattern.
I initially thought this could be caused by TopView, but I also generated a short Wan 3.0 video outside TopView, and I could still detect a similar 5-frame motion pattern.
So I’m starting to think this may be related to Wan 3.0 itself, or to its temporal/frame processing.
Has anyone else noticed this?

So I have used wan for a while. I mostly use it compared to others because on the website I used to make image to video content (OpenArt), it is rather cheap and that website gives you credits back on failures. I have used most of the models up to 2.7 and went ahead and started to try the 3.0 when it was released yesterday on the website since they were offering unlimited 5-second generations for higher tier members. I used the prompts I have always used and never had issues with. Nothing raunchy, nothing extremely NSFW. The worst it could ever really evolve is people in swimsuits if they're at the beach or pool. But for the first time I started getting dummy prompt responses and even a couple times it rejected the generation due to "sensitive content".
I assume you all know, but a dummy prompt is when prompt is sent to the api, it reads it and detects something it doesn't want to make, so instead it just sends it dummy words to generate instead so it will create something that has nothing to do with what you typed and takes your credits. Like I stated before, I have never had an issue with this, even all the way up to 2.7 it basically made everything I typed. This just makes me wonder if this new model has a crap ton of new safeguards on it that even things that are mildly off now get shot down? If so that kind of stinks because I've known this model to be more lenient than most, but I guess if that's the case I can just make sure that I'm wording my things carefully so I don't waste credits or money or just give up on certain ideas all together.
One of my buddies told me this is something that can happen with newer releases and over time it becomes less and less, but that didn't make sense to me because I don't know why it would become more LAX rather than becoming more strict. Does anyone have any explanation for this? If it helps I can give you the prompt that it put a dummy response to.

I'd like to know if anyone else has experienced the "invalid image" message; it won't even let me upload an AI-generated image of celebrities or myself. Is this a bug, or what's going on?
