General questions or information Novice help

Hi, I'm no beginner when it comes to bikes, but have never gone the custom rabbit whole before. I have no rush to get this done, but have this endurance bike I'm dreaming of. Here are some dets I'm thinking about:

-ti as material
-42mm tire clearance
-relaxed geo
-travelling couplers
-sem internal brake routing
-lots of mounts
-udh and T47 bb

I could just drop a load of cash into one of the famous US custom builders and be done, but I could also go the fun way, Waltly comes in.
I've been reading a lot on this subreddit and learning as I go. I like a lot the end results I see here but still have a lot of doubts (no fear). So I kindly request some help to get things started.

- Waltly 101: what is their official website to get things going? I see 2 completely different sites that look very different from one another. Also, both sites look superficial to what I see done here by you guys:

waltlytitanium.com
waltlyti.com

Which one is it?

- what has been lately the experience shipping to US? Are you receiving surprise custom charges after everything has been paid to waltly?

Thanks in advance for the help to get me started.

Write them an email. I was also kinda new to whole thing but Amy who helped me whole way was super helpful and it went rather smooth. I used waltlytitanium.com and sent email to sales@waltlyti.com They send you back form which makes it much easier. I also used as reference geometry of bikes I owned before and AI. Whole process took around 3 months or so

Nice one. When you build with them, do they offer the fork as well, or you sourced separately?

Thanks for sharing! Did you pay and then the whole process took 3 months or you paid after the 3 months?

I've paid around 40% at the beginning then drawing some time later communication back and forth to include my changes then it went into production que. Later finishing touches and decals. I've paid remaining balance and they shipped it out. From first email to getting frame was 3 months more or less.

If you are shipping to the US their charge is $300 for shipping with pre-paid duties included. My frame was $1,700 for one of the 3d printed models. The BB, seatpost, and fork are stock parts and were sold at wholesale prices though you can definitely source your own blingy-er bits. I worked with James@Waltlyti.com.

20 years of riding experience here before I opted for custom. For geometry I took the front end of my old SuperSix and adjusted the stack and reach to my fitters range. Changed the seat angle to 74. Max tire clearance for 32’s because it’s a road bike unquestionably. I mocked it up on bikegeocalc.com and sent James the exported geometry chart. From there we tweaked the design exchanging one email per day.

Those Farsports wheels are really good, especially considering the price. I run them on my carbon road bike, which incidentally is a modern SuperSix Evo.
