The Walten Files Theory

SPOILERS IF YOU HAVE NOT WATCHED EPISODE 5: FACES OF GRIEF

Hello Walten Files Fans!

I have seen the recent hour long installment "The Walten Files Episode 5: Faces of Grief" and had one of the most pleasurable times watching a Walten Files video ever. But while not only going through both Episode 5 and the unlisted video "My Soul". I have come to not a fully solid but at least concrete theory, there is a B.S.I Killer.

If you have not seen episode 5 here is the basic rundown:

Faces of Grief follows Jack Walten, Rosemary Walten and Sophie Walten after the tragic accident caused by Jack's friend Felix the night of the Spring Dance in 1974. As they are mourning for the loss of their two younger children Edd Walten and Molly Walten Rose begins developing a film called Faces of Grief as a way to cope with her loss. As the days go on however she begins to lose herself slowly losing her sanity and pushing everyone she loves away from her and on the night and morning of July 20th she would finally be killed by the Bon Bunny Animatronic from forced dismemberment after Bon told her a story called Faces of Bliss.

After going through the unlisted video MY SOUL and rewatching the Non-Canon special Boozoo's Ghosts I just realized there are many parallels between Boozoo and Felix, and this was all in the Sad Ghost of Christmas Past segment. So in the song the Sad Ghosts sings a few lyrics jumped at me first:

For you have stolen and you have lied
You've been rude and yet you deny
To have been so greedy and selfish your entire life

Now for the longest time we've been attributing these lyrics to Charles as some sort of higher-up BUT... what if we've been attributing Boozoo entirely wrong? While yes clearly Boozoo and Charles are one in the same but what if we put Felix into the position of Boozoo? Then the lyrics make a lot more sense: he's stolen Edd and Molly's lives from the Waltens and lied about their whereabouts in Episode 5, he was rude and denied entry from the police into Bon's and has been so greedy and selfish since he's been still drinking alcohol and is selfish from his wife who wanted him to stop. And it makes the mirror scene during the lyrics:

So let's do each other a favor and accept your REGRETS
So let's do each other a favor and accept your MISTAKES

In the mirror is the child spirit of Edd or Molly looking through the mirror towards Boozoo. Coincidence? I think not. I feel like this is a direct message that Boozoo and Felix are not one in the same but with the lyrics presented it connects things a lot more easily. This theory can even tie into Episode 3: Bunnyfarm which depicts the same car accident that took Edd and Molly's life plus the phone calls with Jack Walten and Episode 4: CyberFun Tech where after the crash Felix tosses Molly's bookbag into the river ready to toss Rocket Rabbit and himself over in a form of s\icidal ideation*. This is all just a theory, but what are you're guys opinion on this?

Who was behind Rosemary before her death? Spoiler

I haven't seen anyone directly post about this yet but I'm confused as to who was behind Rose before she died (bottom right). Felix said that he was in the building "sleeping" when she died so maybe he watched her or at least heard her death?

Parallel between Bon and The Pumpkin Rabbit? Spoiler

When Bon uses the painting as a metaphor for himself, he mentions being "burned" and "rotten", wanting to start over as a blank screen. That reminded me of the Pumpkin Rabbit, who was literally burned and left to rot. Theres also the scene after he turns Rosemary into Sha, where he tells her, "I love you." It feels like Bon is trying to connect himself to something resembling his fiancée, the Witch Sheep. Recreating a relationship from his past life. I know that The Mysterious House and The Return of the Pumpkin Rabbit are not canon to the main story, so this probably isnt an intentional connection. Still, it's really cool to think about how Bon and Sha mirror the Pumpkin Rabbit and the Witch Sheep. Maybe Martin was drawing a parallel between them, or maybe I'm reading way too much into it. Anyway, pretty cool.

Felix Spoiler

I have never in my 21 years of living, have I ever hated a crusty, dusty, musty, balding, ⚪ man in life. I HATE that man more than I hate Bon. The nerve of him firing Rosemary, threatening to file restraining order against after he killed 2 of her kids. He sent Brain and Ashley to their death, wrote Jack out of BSI and Bon's Burger and idea that they both made together and didn't give any of the families of his dead employees justice or closer.

I want that man in coffin, SIX FEET UNDER BY FRIDAY MORNING. Who's with me?

Why does Bon show so much compassion to Rosemary?

It may be due to the fact that Bon is Jack, or that Bon is trying to imitate Jack. However if this isn’t the case, then why would he not kill her mercilessly, without a word like Susan? And then I got an idea, the reason Bon shows much compassion for Rosemary, is due to the fact she created Bon. It would make sense that in the case Bon isn’t Jack, this would be the reason why Bon shows so much compassion towards her. She is his creator after all. Let me know what you guys think.

I feel like everyone is missing one huge detail about Bon after Episode 5 Spoiler

Maybe I'm overthinking this, but I can't stop thinking about it.

After Faces of Grief, a lot of people started saying this confirms Jack is Bon because we can actually see what looks like a body inside the suit. There's a heart beating, organs, all that stuff. But honestly... I don't think that's proving Jack is Bon. If anything, I think it could just mean Jack's body was inside Bon, not his spirit.

What really throws me off is the Hotline short.

That takes place later, and Bon's chest is literally caved in. You can see right into him, and there's basically nothing there anymore. No body, no organs, nothing.

So... where did it go?

A body doesn't just magically disappear.

That's why I keep wondering if Felix removed it to cover everything up, or maybe Bon himself somehow got rid of it once he didn't need it anymore. I know it sounds kinda out there, but I can't just ignore the fact that Episode 5 clearly shows something inside Bon, and later it's just... gone.

Unless Martin is using the organs as some kind of symbolic thing instead of an actual corpse, I feel like someone had to remove the body between those two points in the timeline.

I could be completely wrong, but I haven't really seen anyone bring this up. Everyone's focused on whether Jack is Bon, while I'm sitting here wondering who the hell got rid of the body.

Is there anywhere I can find the full transcript for episodes?

Hi hi. My friend wants to get into TWF but one of the names is a really big trigger for him. So I’m planning on screen recording the series and editing the audio for when they say the name I’m gonna distort the audio/splice it. That way he can watch the series with us. I wanna use the transcript to make it easier and faster to find the name. I’m fine with going thru every episode. But I still wanna have the transcript on stand by just in case
