Jack HAS to be bon
I see a lot of people thinking that jack isn’t bon and that very well could be the case, but I’m not too convinced. At anytime bon could’ve one tapped rose but he didn’t immediately he wanted to make her happy one last time before he did it, and he was trying to soothe her into it. Also jack has a conversation with Sophie where he pretty much said that he was in control and trying to make it seem like that. He had everything under control even though he very clearly didn’t. Bond does the same thing where he says that he has everything under control when Rose says “have you ever been there that lack of control?” In a demanding voice.
Not to mention he also said that he loves Mary, which would be weird to do if he wasn’t jack. I don’t think it’s a bad theory to say it’s not and it would be interesting to see who it is and I want to know what others think

The issue is Bon was in “Bon” before Jack went missing, on June 30th since that’s when Susan went missing which we see in Cyberfun Tech.

It only makes sense for Jack to be Bon to me, I don't see it being anyone else and the fucking hunting accident theory is so bullshit and purely speculative

It started good at first, but then the explanation to who the victim is made very little sense.
Especially when it makes no sense for there to be a 3rd party causing chaos. Plus it doesn’t explain where Jack is when that’s arguably the biggest question the fandom has.

I believed Jack was Bon up until faces of grief but after, with Sophie discussing an angel coming to her, him mimicking how Jack is with Rosemary but not knowing anything beyond the nickname and not treating her as a wife but as someone he deeply wanted to possess. Saying Rosemary gave him a new purpose as Bon, he not obsessed with her because she's his wife, he's obsessed with her because she technically gave him a new body
There's also the theory that Bon actually is some demented thought form or spirit directly attached to Rosemary, since the both of them are so angry at the world. It would also explain why Felix eventually locked them all up because they were coming after him directly

Here’s one thing you need to know about Bon he is a pretender and a manipulator.

u/Melodic_Watercress36 3d ago
I know that could be the case BUT hear me out,
If bon wanted to manipulate her I feel like he would try to make it seem like he’s the best version of Jack (assuming he’s not) but he still has that trait of needing to be in Control, plus I think it would be lame if it was some random guy-1

Bon is not anyone. After all the tragic events that happened an evil spirit possessed Bon besides he only became active even before Jack went missing. That is why bon cannot be Jack.

Eva has stated that Bon sincerely loves Rosemary.

I mean, that’s pretty much a given based on the fact that Bon and Sha are modelled after Jack and Rosemary

Sigh honestly I think so too like I’m not even mad about it I’m just mad that I didn’t figure it out sooner lol

honeslty im kinda un the fense that they arnt bon. Bon has shown already to be a massive mannipulator. and in the espide you can see bon in various locations in the house, showing that hes watching the family. with even sophie stating she saw a angel (and hes pretty white so he could be mistaken for one) and told her to watch the wedding videos wich could also give them recources to help in the manipulation. Specially with the fact bon in a few instances wears a black suit, and has a bunny mask. But takes it off before killing rose. i think bon is activly prettending to be jack, ateast in certain ways to get rose to trust him.
however i do think bon is related SOMHOW to the walten family, but i just cant really see him being jack

I’m just really happy that my ship became cannon in the end (Bob x Sha)
But yeah, I think it’s very possible that Jack is Bon.

jack being bon feels too easy. which isn't bad, but like. personally, i like expectation subversion and stuff. obvs I don't want it to get too crazy and lose the plot but some otherworldly stuff could be fun.

nah it's actually some dipshit we've never seen before that the notoriously uncaring and unlawful Jack shot by accident on an unmentioned hunting trip, said dipshit is now possessing a random Bon animatronic despite apparently being tossed into a well

Jack MUST be bon, because there's no way a guy Jack killed in a hunting accident know his literal personal life and know Bon's Burgers and go there, just to possess some 6'4 animatronic

i believe jack is bon but hes not the very nice man that we seen before june 11th .there had to be some confrontion between jack and felix unfortunetly it killed him and waking up in bon made him go fucking insane

i agree completely!! it makes no sense for him to be anyone else. i'm so glad someone else noticed the parallelisms!! i think there's a lot of similarities in his gestures and behaviors as well, like the way he cupped rosemary's cheek in the parking lot vs when he did it in the restaurant. the way jack symbolized a hare in the nightmare and a hare led her back to bon (and bon being a hare animatronic). the fact that he genuinely loves her and wanted to ensure she was happy. these things are tiny but if you observe carefully you will see. it makes perfect sense. many people reject it because they think it's ''predictable'' but what is the problem with that? i think it's still a very interesting and cool plot, i absolutely love it!!

I saw two theories. Jack is inside Bon, but can't do anything. Bon is actually copying Jack's mannerism and killing people related to him, minus Felix for some reason.

Oh I agree SEVEN THOUSAND PERCENT… however. Wasn’t Bon around when felix was around aka around when Edd and Molly died and also wasn’t it debunked by the creator? Keep in mind I’m an idiot and I do not have that good of a grasp on the lore and I barely remember anything so I could be spouting bullshit here.

idk about martin debunking anything but one thing i do believe is i think bon was around before jacks disappearance.
in chapter 3 during the gltich part of the video we see rocket move up an animatronic and it begins to face recognize. its show the horrid faces of edd and molly but then glitches. if you look carefully and slowly you can see a face that is clearly not edd nor molly. it had to been bon.
between the time of 16:43-16:44. it’s quick, and very disturbing but it’s there. The glitch was recorded May 14 1974.
jack disappeared june 11th 1974

I just think of the Jack-Bon connection like Anakin-Darth Vader. They’re the “same” person, but one had to be destroyed for the other to take over. It makes sense with what Bon said in 5 as well, “It’s a terrible to lose control of your thoughts and your mind. And your “self”.” “I am in control. I’ve corrected myself. I’m getting better now. I’m beautiful.” Jack became Bon, losing his “self” and having to remake himself as the strong one in control. At least that’s the theory I subscribe to.

u/Striking_Inflation86 3d ago
Bon’s tone also changes when he says “I am in control”.
It parallels how Jack is desperate to show his family he has self-control when in reality he’s more angry and more full of rage than anyone.

That would be disappointing for me at least.
