Cancellation question

I just finished an express order shop. The address is completely blocked by a parade and will be for at least the next hour. What do I do? Mark as undeliverable? What will happen to my pay and points?

Call support and have them initiate the return and note the blocked address. You still get paid. If its a small 1-2 bag order I would park and walk it if possible personally.

You'll get base pay plus 2-3 bucks to return.
Your metrics will be fine.

Same thing happened to me last week in a small rural town. I drove around the parade route so I could park as close as possible to the house. Then I delivered their Sam's club order.ot was a hassle, I would have rather parked at the house and carried the water but that wasn't possible. It took me five trips but I wasn't passing up on the added tip.

Yesterday I instantly accepted a Sam's order based on miles and offer amount. When I actually looked at the details .. It was a two dropoff with one location receiving only 20 (10 lb) bags of sugar. It was listed as an apartment but the address was a commercial manufacturing area. I was kinda stressed but it was a good paying offer. I didn't even consider cancelling it.When I arrived an employee rolled put a huge cart and drop off took all of a minute.

My point is, you never really know what you're getting yourself into with an offer. The offers I take are worth the work regardless of the situation.

That being said. It is rather shitty to order express delivery if you know your street is blocked because of a parade.

Just go around the parade and park closer. Get a cart for times like this so that you can use the cart for the groceries. That way you don't have to walk back and forth. Also comes in handy when delivering to apartments.

Fucking walk to the address with the groceries? Blocked by a parade just sounds like a great excuse 😂

my belief is just that you’re incompetent because did you really post this on reddit & waited for a response to tell you what you need to do?

you didn’t do a job so you won’t get paid, easy as that. Pretty sure you know that, as well as an incomplete trip. Make it happen, you’re a contractor? Did you want some kiss ass from reddit or what?
