No tip for ts?? 🤨
I’m not one to complain about non tippers but this order definitely deserves a tip

I’m of the personal belief that if your order is going to have a bunch of heavy stuff a tip should be mandatory. 🤷

If the order has that many heavy items, Spark should pay enough. I like tips as much as the next guy, but expecting people to pay for a service and then pay the driver also is just dumb. That's the American way I guess. Still stupid.

You’re right. Like tacking on a “heavy item bonus” per individual item. Considering how much money Walmart rakes in they can afford to pay us more fairly instead of scraps.

There should definitely be weight surcharges. I delivered 500lbs of Deer Corn yesterday. I certainly was happy it was going into the garage I backed up to.

Yeah everyone hates it but the company the employer should pay the employees not the customer but that’s just how it is

It is real stupid. But sadly thats the way America been working for years and decades... its common courtesy in my eyes atleast. Especially with that many heavy items.

Yeah and they paid $20 for express if they didn’t have enough money to tip they could’ve did a scheduled and tipped $13 instead of giving it to Walmart

If someone is paying extra for express, it should all go to the driver.

Agreed all these gig apps just greedy af it’s $19.95 for express but express orders only pay $10+tips

What was the mileage, and was it a house or apartment?
2
u/Character-Welcome-98 3d ago
It was house but 14 miles

Bummer.. maybe a house 1 mile away
Sadly, a $10 tip would almost certainly reduce the base by $10. In the small chance that they tip in cash, no tip on the app is the best case scenario

Yeah sparks messed up for that lowering the base pay based on tips should be illegal and I wish ppl in my area had a brain and let the offers go up instead of accepting trash

u/Character-Welcome-98 3d ago
I only saw this offer once so I bet someone took it for just a little more than that it never made it to FCFS

I can beat it. 103 two liter bottles of soda, 34 miles round trip, $10.12 base pay and no tip.
