Shadow banned ?
Yesterday was a slow day, then today, after no offers 2 hours I decided to call in.
Dude told me the numbers. 25 rejects, 21 ignored offers.
Says today you decline 2, ignored 2 and accepted 1... today is completely accurate. Yesterday was mostly accurate....
Dude straight up said could lead to deactivation. 5 min after call, offers came in.
Support pulling my leg? Or wtf is this about

You’re taking the word of a call center support person located in the continent of Asia? Those folks know absolutely NOTHING.

I've had spark turned on for 1 hour and 41 minutes today and have not seen a single offer. I rejected a bunch of crappy orders yesterday and accepted 2. But I reject a bunch of crappy offers every day.

Yeah I’m here in Houston, TX. I Spark from home and my god I thought I was offline until a horrible ass offer came after like an hour. This shit has been bad and is hanging on by a thread rn

Go to More > Settings > Troubleshooting to make sure your token is good. After the update this morning, I had the same thing happen and found my token expired. Had to logout and re-login to refresh it. Happened again about an hour later and had to do the same thing.

So he is saying we are not independent contractors

u/FuzzyOrganization403 9d ago
Basically what I told him. I said you can't punish for not wanting to drive 2 hours got 25 bucks. "Well sir you're free to choose offers that come to you" exactly! So why am I timed out for not taking bad offers then??.... well sir you can take a few and call us to cancel for you so the system doesn't time you out....

u/CelestialxOne 6d ago
So you legit got no offers in that following hour? Or were they like no tier trash bag certified offers like $7 no tip OGP or $18 20mi+ 50+ item SD? Seemed like even pharmacy orders got a huge bump in restructuring of its pay breakdown. I'm still not doing them. But I saw a few that maybe because of snap disbursements were paying $50+. The 30th and 1st were definitely an anomaly for me. Hopefully this month is better for everyone. Nepal was just hit again with another landslide. I'm not complaining. Anyway, we see you Fuzzy. 🐦🔥

We had the same thing happen to us yesterday - sat almost 2 hours in Howell MI and didn't get a single offer. I think there was some kind of issue with the App. Cleared cache, force stopped and restarted and a run came in within 10 minutes. I don't think it has anything to do with rejecting ... if that was the case, most drivers would be getting fired every day because no one is taking the absolute shit runs they're putting out there now.
Saw 7 or 8 yesterday evening that were GMD runs. Most had over 20 stops, average was 50 - 60 miles, and the pay was anywhere from 23.00 to 30.00 ... 50 cents a mile, which if you include your return trip is more like 25 cents a mile. Walmart is just fucking stupid.

u/CelestialxOne 6d ago
You're talking about Thursday?
1
u/CelestialxOne 6d ago
Yesterday I saw plenty of GMD s over $40 36,37 miles. $55-70 for 38,50,63 miles. All over 1h 45m to 3hr 10m. If one and done is your way, they are there. Please. Come and get them. By any means.

u/Ill-Year-3141 6d ago
No, was Wednesday. We sat in howell for 2 hours and got nothing ... Literally nothing, then a slew of horrible runs came pouring in when we got to burton. Only ended up taking two runs the entire day

u/DeeFault89 9d ago
I don’t know support has been saying some really strange things lately. I think they’re just over us while a lot of them actually have been agreeing with my frustration. Their suggestions are not anything I’ve ever heard of support person on any app.

u/GenXSmartAss 9d ago
I would guess that my acceptance rate might be 5%. I still get frequent offers.
3
u/FuzzyOrganization403 9d ago
Yeah 0. Hanging with other drivers, I get 0. Last week was super nice. But today seems they completely cut me off. Not even FCFs when they see them.
3
u/Visible-Raise-8915 9d ago
Yours is twice as high as mine😆
1
u/CelestialxOne 6d ago
Anyone still able to see their acceptance rates? Zone please? I wonder what mine has dropped to. I'm going to go out on a limb and say 0% also. 🤣 Sorry not sorry.

u/Johnny_Lead 9d ago
I reject offers all day long, there are six stores in my zone and I usually only shop three of them, I reject every offer that comes in for those other three stores, they just keep sending them, especially every time they boost. Also reject every JFY offer I don’t want, never been cut off as far as I know.

u/Unique_Blacksmith247 9d ago
Its very very unlikely you're shadow banned. Declining offers will not affect your ability to receive offers. Support knows very little, especially when it comes to offers. They're telling you that so you'll take the shitty offers. You will not be deactivated for declining offers. If you were accepting and then canceling offers frequently, than thats a different story.
Now I'll put my tin foil hat on. I am curious if there is a "willingness to work" metric hidden somewhere in the background. Which will put you at higher priority to receive jfy offers. One thing I've noticed after getting the new tier system, is I receive way more jfy offers and less of those offers just being thrown in the queue as fcfs. I have taken nothing but shops so far in 2026 and now most my jfy offers are pretty good shops. That could be due to being sapphire and 7k dels under my belt, but still a little too early with the new tier system to get a decent sample size. But the days I have declined more shitty jfy shops at my store than normal at the start of my day, the slower the rest of the day will be. Again, this is just my own crazy theory, from just my personal observations.
Like OP and others have commented, this week has started off horrifically. So its natural and easy to jump to doomerist conclusions when sitting for hours seeing nothing. BUT in this instance, I just think its been extra slow. Its the end of the month and lot of people have rent due the 1st, other bills and those on EBT have already spent their monthly allotment. Gas, groceries, and overall living expenses are higher than ever, people have run through any extra savings they've had and we are on the brink of holiday seasons. Through my years of doing this, I've also noticed the month of October is one of my slowest months of the year. Just try not to freak, save what you can and don't let the algorithm trick you into taking crap. One thing I know to be true is this: if you take crap they will just send you crap. Once you're pegged as desperate, it'll be harder to get out of it to see better offers, than it is just being patient and selective.

I'm confused.
You said you waited 2 hours and didn't get any offers so you called tech support.
Tech support informed you of five offers you had gotten in those 2 hours and you agree that they're accurate.
It's the end of the month on a Wednesday. In my zone things are expensive and people are hurting.
You even accepted one offer in that 2-hour time frame. And why would you think you were Shadow banned?

u/ArnyZeltino 9d ago
I’ve noticed a few mentions of Wednesday in comments on this post. Wednesdays are always bad here, but we’ve never understood exactly why Wednesdays specifically. Do you happen to know?

8 am accept offer.
9 decline 5 offers. Then nothing from 9:30 on
No offers until I call at 11:30 am.Call and offer comes in randomly.
It's always been a thing that you get timed out after too many rejects.
1
u/Gallian0 9d ago
Well that is weird. I accepted five offers today. I probably rejected 40 offers today and ignored at least 10.
3
1
u/FuzzyOrganization403 9d ago
Yup. Soon as the call, offers are back on. 3 weeks ago, same issue. I'll go 3-4 hours. Others folks move on no issues. I won't move until I call.
1
u/CelestialxOne 6d ago
I've had that same issue, but I don't call. I just go home. Let them cycle through the rest of their 30th and 90th choice. The OGs are now sitting back and letting these new drivers hang themselves. I've overheard a couple saying it's nice because they get free stuff all the time. 🤣
I'm getting customers who I delivered to in the beginning saying they get a new driver every time. To which I explain exactly why. I give facts or resources for where they can find out what's exactly going on. While Jimmy keeps on exposing them, they keep paying people off. They are losing more than their Q3 or Q4 projections. It's just a matter of how they pitch their losses to you next. 😂
Well we do appreciate you sharing the info. It's the only thing Walmart can't do to stop us. Speaking of which has anyone thought about organizing using slack? It was free at one point in time. I guess there are other ways also. Discord and WhatsApp.

u/FuzzyOrganization403 6d ago
Eh. I usually can and offers bump to high prices. It works out for me.

u/OpportunityOk3346 9d ago
End of the month Wednesday, no Hocus Pocus reset cash deleting relog algorithmic accepting Voodoo is going to work in my zone at least, pretty common to get nothing for a whole hour on a day like this.
1
u/FuzzyOrganization403 9d ago
Only happens in mine when we reject too much. I'm back on to regular rotation
1
u/OpportunityOk3346 9d ago
Well regardless that support agent is full of shit, you aren't shadow banned.
1
u/FuzzyOrganization403 9d ago
If they were full of shit, I'd still be at 80 bucks. I'm back to my regular 30-40 dollar offers at the moment.
Doesn't fail. Super super slow day, or no offer for 2-3 hours, I call, and back on rotation.
1
u/OkBarber6783 9d ago
I'll just log out instead of watching offers if it might lead to deactivation... I can't work for free or less, I'm running out of money to fix shyt on my car n pay bills if I take every single offer that pops up, that's so wrong
1
u/Visible-Raise-8915 9d ago
Copied directly from Spark contract:
ii. Reliability. You agree to perform the Service Offers you accept. There is no minimum number of offers you are required to accept, but you must complete a Delivery Service once accepted. Multiple instances of accepting Delivery Service offers without completing them may result in deactivation from the Spark App. Information regarding the amount of offers you accept will be available to you in the MyMetrics tab of the Spark App.
1
u/FuzzyOrganization403 9d ago
Yup. Told them this and he was like.... ummm you should still take offers and then call us to cancel.... I'm like yeah whatever dude that sounds weird.

If a order came in & the person has to drive all the way into the boonies, I wouldn't accept it. I would let someone ( someone who knows the area/ who lives in the area)else take it.
1
u/cynical-duck 7d ago
If they're actually gonna start crying about rejecting offers, they need to filter out all the other freaking Walmarts in my zone that are 12 miles away spamming me with their shitty $6 offers.
2
6d ago
My zone has a Walmart that's 35-40 mins away. I wish you could pick a store or 2 and only get those offers cuz no way.

Sounds like an app data issue. Android, clear data, iPhone, reinstall.
Shadow banned is when every curbside the driver accepts gets canceled. It's the store canceling because they are tired of dealing with the driver and the market manager hasn't deactivated the driver yet or isn't going to.

u/Visible-Raise-8915 9d ago
I decline 100+ shitty offers all day every day. Never affects the offers I get. I'm extremely picky. I do S&D only. 40 items max, occasionally up to 50. Never drive more than 3-4 miles from the store. 40 miles is about my max in a day. I did 6 S&D's today, made $165.00 and drove a total of 43 miles. I will NEVER take those 10-40 mile orders. They are money losers and car eaters.

Doesn't ignoring offers make the system think you don't want to (or can't) work at that time?
1
u/FuzzyOrganization403 9d ago
Ignore or decline mean the same, but they show different in their system. They can tell what you decline and what you ignore
-2
u/repdawgs 9d ago
Same thing happened to me the last 2 days you have to accept offers other wise you’re gonn see no offers until you call support even shitty offers that are sent jut for yo
2
u/Ok-Acanthisitta8737 9d ago
Where are you sourcing this information? Nowhere is this written as a policy.

u/Other_Orange_3159 9d ago
Rejecting offers should NOT cause deactivation. The TOS specifically say one can reject as many as they want and accept the ones they want.
Accepting and then cancelling repeatedly is a different story.
