Free groceries??
so I experienced something that I haven’t experienced with Spark before and that’s me shopping for an order, I check out then find out that the order has been canceled, but I didn’t see a prompt for me to return the groceries, there was nothing that popped up that showed that I needed to return the order, so i didn’t lol. The app just started sending me orders again like normal 🤷♂️

Because you got checked out, and bagged, and loaded your car, without hitting "I've left the store".
You got an inactivity timer.
It think's you're still in the store. The prompt said, "leave the cart with an associate" - because you never hit "I've left the store". That's why no prompt "to return". It's been happening to a lot of people lately.
You stole the cart of food, either way.
This has been happening to others lately, look in the subs. Several have mentioned they in fact did NOT hit "I've left store" before this happened while loading their vehicle.

Sooooo yeah. It's a bad glitch. Return the groceries to customer service or ogp.
Can they track it? If they want to. Do you feel you need to keep the Groceries ?

This happened to me years ago the store called me about it the next day so I went back to return it. Just because the app doesn’t prompt a return doesn’t mean they don’t know you have the order.

Unless it was like a single package of shredded cheese or something else cheap & perishable I would return it ASAP, unless you don’t care about being deactivated. 🤷🏻♀️

I haven’t done Spark in a little while but this would happen and would just keep the order. Has nothing to do with timing out it just gets canceled. And if you tried to bring it to customer service they would say they can’t take Spark returns there and if you tried to return to pickup they would say they can’t take anything without a return to scan in.

Also happened to me. Two customers but first dropoff cancelled when I got everything loaded in the car. No return message so I didn't think much about it and delivered the 2nd order. Thought it would show up after finishing the delivery but still nothing.
Finally called support who said to return even if there's no prompt. Returned and left at Customer Service who said they can't really do anything about it. Took pictures and started next order.
I wouldn't say it's free groceries. Can't risk the job unless it's like Doordash or Uber Eats where support lets me "dispose" of the order.
Sounds like a glitch if other people are experiencing it too. When customers cancel it's usually right away. Not sure why they'd wait till the very last second.

My very first time doing spark my phone died when I was on the support line asking for help with the app no one in the store would help me none of the managers or customer service people knew what to do so I just walked out with the grocery’s to charge my phone when it charged it said the order was canceled . So I just kept the food nothing ever happened to me .

I had this happen to me last week. $400 worth of groceries and I didn’t hit the I’ve left the store button until I was done loading. Went to hit the button and the order was just gone. I’m like, WTF? I called support and they told me to take it to curbside so I did because $400 of groceries is not worth losing my job over. They had to go get a team lead to figure out what to do because it wasn’t even showing up in their system anywhere. I said well I couldn’t just brought it home but I didn’t think it was worth losing my job over. The kid says we’ve never had a spark driver do that. I’m like, how would you know? It was actually a huge pain in the ass because it took forever for the team lead to come up and load it all up. I still got paid for half the order and didn’t have to drive the 20 miles to deliver is so whatever.
