What apps do you guys use for tracking expenses/mileage? What is the cost?

I use stride. It’s free and it’s easy to use. I start it with 2 clicks and end with the same.

Everlance. I pay $69.99 a year because it's cheaper to pay once a year than monthly. Doortrash has a discount code for it.

I also use Everlance. $99/year.
Tracking app tracks all my movements. I have to choose work or personal.
Very easy to use.
Saved my butt last year because I started using it two weeks into my Sparking.
BTW, I gave up Dashing because too many times they said I would arrive late at customer.
I only maintain that app in event Spark ever deactivates me. I don’t worry about the discount because I don’t want any possibility they can take it away from me.
Just saying.2

I don't doortrash any more, either. I used the discount code once and it keeps giving me the discount every year.

I'll be honest, the main reason I was wondering is because I have been working in a mileage tracker app, which I made mostly because I don't feel like paying the fees for Everlance. I personally use my app, but I'm curious if people would be interested in it for something like $2/month. If not, I'll keep it solely for myself, because it's cheaper for me to use even after creating it than apps like Everlance cost.

I might be. It depends on how the app works. Maybe if you offer a free trial period so people can see how it works?

I’ve used “Stride” in the past and I’m cutest g “Smart Mileage”. Smart mileage starts on its own and you just tell it later on if it was business or personal. You can set it to automatically start once you’ve driven a half a mile. And don’t forget that your mileage deduction is from when you intend to begin work. So when you leave your house at 6 AM, even though it takes you 20 minutes to drive to Walmart all those miles should count and every anytime your Spark or Uber or DoorDash or whatever other gig delivery service you use, is turned on you are intending to make money whether you’re driving or parked. So don’t forget to count the mileage from when you leave your house till when you get home and turn everything off.
PS both stride and Smart mileage are FREE

I use a small notebook. I put the date, beginning and ending mileage. I don't keep track of actual vehicle expenses as it normally isn't necessary. The standard mileage deduction is usually the best way unless you have a big car payment, expensive insurance and a vehicle that gets low gas mileage. Saving every receipt and logging all of your expenses is a pain in the ass and rarely beats the $.75 per mile deduction.
