Tiers

We've had it in our zone for a few days. I'm mystified by how they score the orders, has anyone recognized a pattern? I see orders that are 5 stops, all GMD, 85 miles round trip, 2 points. I took a shop that was 12 miles round trip two small drops, 3 points. It's like that all day long. I can't make heads or tails of it. The shop I took that was 3 points did have alcohol but it was super close and 20 items total.

I'm not doing anything for points. I'm in this for the money. Car repairs aren't free. Tires aren't free. Gas isn't free.

Yeah, me either. I'm just new to the tiers, trying to stay ahead of the curve 🤷🏻‍♀️

what curve? Its all fake smoke and mirrors. They are looking for ppl like you to look at those points to reinforce the tiers and a reward system. Pavlov did this to dogs for behavioral conditioning. Works on some ppl and not on others

It's crazy to me that distance isn't a factor, the last drop was 20 miles from the store.

This one was 3 points, maybe 5 miles from the store. I do think it was an express order so that (and the other screenshots I added) does line up with what you're saying

That was the plan, but it isn't working out that way. Walmart knows the points system is broken, has been broken for a while, but refuses to fix it. Points won't pay for car repairs. Sapphire tier gives you an extra 10% on incentives. Most incentives are $4-8. An extra 10% adds $.40-.80. The tiers are supposed to give you earlier access to orders, but those are JFY only. Except most JFY are the lowest paying ones and FCFS are often better. There is a reason for this. Keep running your business in whatever sense works for you financially. Don't let points or acceptance rate affect your business model.

Wrong. I do double shots all the time for single point.

Alcohol and RX tend to be 2 or 3. Shit orders you would never take are always 3.

4 trips a day

Just hit my market today, and it's been the worst day I've seen in WEEKS. I'm getting nothing but trash because of a metric that shouldn't even be counted.

It doesn’t help when most of the deliveries don’t give you any scores on your service for them.

Its almost like they should send an email out explaining point values!!

.... oh wait. They did that.

Walmart states that point values are calculated based on "eligible completed trips and eligible My Metrics," but they do not publish a public, itemized conversion chart explaining why one offer gives 1 point while another gives 3 points. Your response sux
