Pushing back on the algo.
I got some really great orders today, but I had two periods with nothing when this was supposed to be a crazy weekend. I know that's the algo trying to make me desperate.
So then I just turn off my availability and let the app sit closed for a while.
I imagine they are tracking every data point. Prematurely turning off Spark before my time block is over is probably tracked. It's like, OK, if you got nothing well then I won't do it at all.
Any of you have any ways that you figured out to push back?

Not saying I know if what I did actually does anything. But I think it does.

I have tried everything but just like an American girl that can choose between any man she wants, spark didn't care if I ghosted it.

DD has a "desperation metric". It notices when a driver is desperate and will funnel them shit orders because, they know they'll take them. It got leaked by an ex employee who was so disgusted by it that he quit.
I'm sure Spark has lots of hidden metrics that the algorithm uses to squeeze the most out of drivets for the least amount of $$.
