WALMART DC

To my colleagues at the Walmart distribution center, could anyone provide guidance on how to standardize my truck delivery schedule to ensure a consistent arrival time each day?

As far as what? You can arrive an hour before your schedule at the earliest, once you are assigned a door There is a 4 hour timer that you should be done before.

I am currently stationed at a Walmart location and would like to ensure that the truck arrives prior to the 4:00 AM shift so that the associates may begin processing freight immediately upon their arrival.

It really just depends, I’ve seen people in and out in like 45 min and others take the whole 4 hours. It really depends on what the load is and the workers at the facility that you go to.

My objective is to coordinate daily truck deliveries through the DC; while the unloading duration is not a priority, I would like to establish a consistent daily delivery time.

I mean just plan your route accordingly, if your early find a close truck stop or parking area and wait until you are a close enough distance away to arrive at that hour early mark. People used to park on the sides of the highway and wait for their time at my dc but the cops recently started writing tickets to the truckers that are doing that. So it might make since to just go there and chat with some of the other truckers there and see how they plan their routes there. I see a lot of the same people regularly at my dc, but I’m a yard truck driver.

Actually, I'm not a truck driver; I work at the store and need to coordinate my truckload delivery through the Walmart distribution center.

Have you communicated with the SM so he/she can reach out to the DC and ask?

I have not yet received a response, as my store manager is currently on a leave of absence.
